Good morning house, I did my capturing in Osun state on August 3rd but till date my passport is not out, what can I do please
The excuse has been that they are given limited booklets but I later heard those that pay 60k were able to collect their within a week.
Please nairalanders who can help me out??

Depends on the location. It's more expensive for Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt @ 25k for 32 pages. Other states are 17,000 excluding charges.

Wow!!! Lucky me.. Applying in Nasarawa State. Maybe I should just use this opportunity to do 64-pages 10 years. I made payment via sanapay and it hasn't reflect on my profile. Which of the payment gateway would you Recommend? I will use this opportunity to review my application from the 32-page to the 64 page passport once this issue with sanapay is resolved.

Went to Festac passport office today and they said I need my parents International passport data page as a minor but my parents only have National ID card Nigeria why?

You can fill an application online and pay online. And take the print out with the reqd documents to the passport office for submission. Then wait for capturing and passport production. If you are in Lagos ensure you have nin registration and that it matches your information ie name, date of birth etc. Once you have had a passport before it is renewal and you will get a new passport. Fresh application is for people who have never had a passport.
Read through the previous threads to know what to expect if you decide to go the online route. It is cheaper but has its challenges, though they are surmountable. All the best

There are too many factors. Particularly availability of booklets.
My best advice is apply as early as you can. Some people here got it quick like 4 weeks for others as long as 2-3 months.
It's probably more straightforward if it's a renewal versus change of name or data. All the best

Is there anyone that captured in Abeokuta on the 26th of September. I was supposed to pick up my passport on the 7th of October has written in the slip given to me.

But surprisingly I went to their Abeokuta office to get my fresh passport done. I filled the form and told to come back following day for capturing, I did. I collected my passport exactly 12 days after.

I captured since 14th of July and I 'm still waiting for their call/sms. Its DIY. My husband has gone there to complain but nothing.

Message them on Facebook. Some people have had success with that. Add your enrollment number from when you got captured in the message. You might need to send the messages multiple times but that may work. All the best

I can't give a straight forward answer to that

I need the passport urgently for a trip in the first week of December and my office requested I submit my passport by the end of October so that they can start processing as soon as possible. I paid 55k for 64/5yrs in late September but my NIN had issues ( it is a renewal and I put 4 names on my previous passport as against 3 names on my NIN ). Eventually my NIN issue couldn't be resolved until this week so I had to opt to do an express , I paid 20k extra for this. So I can't really say how much he'll collect for express from the outset but I think it should be in 70 - 80k range ( this is for 64/5yr )

As we gradually revert to normalcy, I need to renew my passport.

I live in Lagos but work in Ogun State. The previous office of issuance was Ikoyi, Lagos?

Is there any advantage of going back there?

Is the DIY process hitch free and how long does it take?

Perhaps I should hire a middleman as we do for almost everything else in Naija?
