Good morning house. My corolla 08 doesn't start on one kick again whether morning or afternoon. Sometimes, it has to be on 3rd kick before it will start. What can be the problem?

My automatic transmission jerks before changing to gear 2 from gear 1....

I want to see a mechanic this weekend....

Please is it advisable to change the engine oil I use in servicing my car to Mobil 1 0W20 after the dealer has serviced it with the normal Mobil Xhp 20W50 engine oil twice earlier this year

More info required pls.

Vehicle make, model, number of times serviced with 20w50, current condition of the engine .

The dealer said he serviced it twice with 20W50: When it arrived and when he delivered to Me
There is no issue with the engine sir

If a car is for sale especially Toks it’s shouldn’t be driven as often as to require regular oil changes. So why is a dealer servicing a car twice between February and September if it’s for sale and not a daily driver.

There is not much we can do remotely.

You will need an automotive electrician to confirm and restore connections. The AC computer should control the operations of AC .

How is work and your family?

My Car AC is no more dropping the Idle when Engine is hot.
As advised, visited my mechanic who scanned the car and pointed out below error codes.

P1324 - Knock Sensor Power Source Circuit Low Voltage
P0135 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0141 - Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Sensor 2) Heater Circuit Malfunction


Restored the knock sensor connection to clear the error code P1342.

Replaced the Upstream and Downstream Sensors to clear P0135 and P0141.

Check Engine light off for awhile but came back ON after driving few kilometers with P0134 - Oxygen (A/F) Sensor No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1).

Any suggestion to fix P0134?

Good morning all, I scanned my 2005 accord four cylinder engine & it threw up these codes.

1) P0304 - misfire cylinder 4 detected

(I will have the plugs & coils checked & probably changed tomorrow with used ones. They say the new NGK are Chinese & don't last. The car hesitates on acceleration, ride quality is compromised, idle is rough & attempts to stall at stationary position).


2) P0011 - Camshaft Position Timing over Advanced or Syatem perfornmance bank 1

(PLS NOTE: Some repairs were done a few days back to correct oil leaks I noticed after car's been parked. The mechanic identified the leak from an oil seal & cover at/Close to Timing belt. Seal & cover replaced but noticed tiny drops still, though reduced.)


3) P0135 - 02 Sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1

(I'm suspecting the misfire code above has something to do with this code popping up. Though, experts can advice further)


4) P0121 - Throttle/pedal position sensor.

(I have changed the TPS more than twice, at intervals, but this code persists and it's affecting the smooth ride & shift of gears. Do I change the whole throttle body assembly?).


5) P1121 - manufacturer control

(I got the info during my online research that this code is associated with the TPS problem.)

Op and other experts please read through and advise further. Thank you.

Honda Accord 2007.


I use dextron II. It selects well apart from the issue I mentioned

well my suggestion is you may need to change the oil to honda dw1 as dextron II is meant to be used temporarily in the absence of genuine honda dw1.

I drive the 06 v6 accord and I can relate with the hesitation when the transmission is shifting from one gear to the other.

When I observe such, I do an oil change, where the drain bolt is loosened at the bottom of the transmission and the old oil is drained out, but note not all the oil in the transmission drains out as some is still left in it, so most would advice you do another oil change after a month or thereabout.

Afterwards you would have your transmission shifting smoothly.

This I noticed recently, like 5months now.
My Honda 2002 transmission works fine when the engine is cold. When d engine gets hot, I notice 5secs delay in transmission and also when changing gear either to drive or reverse.
Engr Gazzuz and others pls any idea of the possible problem b4 this mechanics enter me.

Also i noticed the fuel system status is reading CL_fault which means something is wrong with closed loop system

And then the 2 codes

P2185 - engine coolant temperature sensor 2 high
P0141 - O2 sensor heater bank 1 sensor 2

As for the P0141 code i want to believe it's there because there isn't catalytic converter in the car.. I bought the car that way..

Please help guys
