Leo Messi is Still by far better than him.
If Messi doesn't manage himself properly like Ronaldo does, he will retire from active football before CR7. This season alone he is already injured like 3times. Ronaldo doesn't keep the ball much again to avoid tackles from opposition players and stay injury free

He has lost a lot of pace and doesn't carry the ball forward from midfield as he used to in his heyday.

No doubt Ronaldo is the greatest player to don the red jersey of man utd.

A player that can give him close competition was the late George best.

To be honest he is still quite quick, so far as it's a short sprint ... he just doesn't have the stamina to sprint up and down all match long like before, but he is still quick enough to pull out a 34km/h burst of pace.

I feel he just does what's necessary in a position, but he is a very efficient player these days...
His positioning is on point
His finishing is beyond question
His ability to read defense lines is just divine
His heading ability is something we don't need to debate
His ball control is sublime
His movements off the ball is world class
And lastly His mentality is what makes him a clutch player even at his age

It's now that you would see the true difference between these two great players. People had always clamored for messi to leave Barca and let's see how well he would do . Well we are seeing for ourselves now. Dont get me wrong, messi is a great player with inborn talent, but I would everly go for c. Ronaldo. This is someone who works very hard for his talents, and has excelled in major leagues.

NB: not a fan of either of them, but just my opinion

Bruh let's be honest with ourselves, Ligue 1 is one of the toughest league in the world. Those clubs you mentioned are tough rivals, also imagine having the 3rd most richest club in the world ie redbull Leipzig. Hence, there will be stiff competition. Messi is having a hard time adapting that's because the team ain't built around him unlike Barcelona. More so, there are also stars that are currently on form and are experienced!. Fortunately for ronaldo he's adapting pretty well based on experiences he had with other teams but this is the first time messi is moving out from his comfort zone. Ole is gradually building his team around ronaldo after the humiliating performance against Tottenham. Mind you, man united were doing well before he came. Bottom line is, he needs some time to adapts or play according to the manager's tactical instructions. Only time will tell!!
