People want to die comfortably then.
Some soils ain't meant for high rise buildings if the structural conditions cannot be met.
Some foundations for some soils may need to go as deep as 2m or more or less.

These are the reason why I find it very very difficult to put my hard earned money into a finish constructed buildings in Nigeria, from land documentation issue to integrity of the structures many times are questionable, you won’t believe many of those nice looking estate don’t have proper land title documents until you find yourself in its when you start asking questions on the owners of the company fronting for the estate.

Some Buildings by some developers are something else in this part of the world.

It's always a good practice to have 2 or more skimmers for proper filtration, however if 1 is used, it should be positioned in the centre of the wall of the deep end of the pool and have minimum of 2 return nozzles directed to it.

In other part of world, they have records of every single three on the street age, name, locations where it’s planted. That is the work of park recreation agency . I also want to have an idea on how Much blocks will be sufficient to complete a modern four bedroom flat.
Since most people have advised me to moulding the block , then work will begin on Monday.
I plan to mould 6’000blocks. For the building, soak away and fence.
I’ve not done planning yet , but i one to start moulding first by Monday so my mind will be on it . Cos if I fail to start again now, I might not do that again till next year ..

Note: I will not buy sand atall , cos there is more than enough sand on the land ( even the surveyor advised me to dig more sand out of the land to avoid cracking in future ).. this is my first house project actually.
My dad will be the one supervising the project from start to finish by God’s grace .

He is the first person to advise me on moulding blocks instead of buying..

There is enough sand on the land? It means your site location is either a desert or a riverside. This is not a good thing regarding cost as you seem to sound. Any land with enough sand as you said needs a specialist foundation which will be very costly. Please seek professional advice first and leave your dad out of it for now.

Na building collapse dey reign now for South West. Inappropriate foundation or badly designed foundation to suit soil type is one major issue being overlooked. It is not always materials used or corrupt officials. Foundation design and execution is key.

There is no respite until we all recognise how 'bent' our mindsets are and make a U-turn.

This isn't an advice at all.
How will someone say the sand on site is too much?
Just take caution.
