So, I did the DIY online application and it was successful, the payment everything was successful, I picked FESTAC for the immigration office, but in the application form, no interview date was written, it brought out :no interview date available, so, should I hold on and wait a bit or just go to the immigration office.

I submitted in festac. Print the necessary stuff and head to the Servicom office. Submit there, they will give you a capture date .

July production just started at Abeokuta.

NIN is compulsory for Abuja applications.

Why not log into the nis portal and apply by yourself. It is pretty straightforward.

they wrote the date of your capturing on the paper and also your enrollment number .. so i think if you can remember the date of capturing ,
they could look for it amongst those that captured that day ...

Please can anybody help me out here, After data capture, the officer in charge handed over to me written figures on a sheet of paper which I believe to be the Enrollment number and I was told to come back the following month for my Passport collection.

In summary, getting to passport office a month after for collection, I was told to provide a written figures in order for them to give the int Passport, I was unable to provide the enrollment sheet of paper which I put inside my wallet that got missing/stolen inside the Bus I entered 2 weeks ago and I was told without it I can't get my passport at the Ikoyi office. Please help me out thanks I really need the passport urgently.

Abeokuta doesn't need nin at the moment. Only Lagos, PH and Abuja do.

Hi, you think it's advisable to go for capturing without getting the text. They made mention of 3 to 5 days after submission/interview day(both were held same day).

If you need it urgently then you'll have to pay but if not so urgent then do it yourself. Avoid the immigration guy at the gate called Bolaji , he collected 75k from me for the passport and express and I still don't have it. I have also been replaced by another person at my work place because I couldn't provide my passport on Tuesday

The passport process has gotten more stressful because of what all of you are doing.

I cnt for the life of me fathom why you ppl cnt just go through the normal way. Express... express still u are waitinh for 2 weeks, 1 month. If u dnt have the understanding to see you are all been duped and nothing like express then I dnt know what else to say to you.
If you need a passport for January. Start now. Not December ending you start jumping up and down and paying hard earned money to thieves.
The way the thieves have even flooded this thread, I cnt even hold myself again and had to leave.

I need the passport urgently for a trip in the first week of December and my office requested I submit my passport by the end of October so that they can start processing as soon as possible. I paid 55k for 64/5yrs in late September but my NIN had issues ( it is a renewal and I put 4 names on my previous passport as against 3 names on my NIN ). Eventually my NIN issue couldn't be resolved until this week so I had to opt to do an express , I paid 20k extra for this. So I can't really say how much he'll collect for express from the outset but I think it should be in 70 - 80k range ( this is for 64/5yr )

When I went to Abeokuta around September, they were giving diys 6 weeks appointment from submission for capturing. I ended up not going through with the process in Abeokuta. So this is not based on personal experience.

However, I know that many times persistence pays. If you go very early, start with the Servicom office, even ask to see the PCO if yoy need to, you may be fortunate and get captured. I don't see any harm in trying. Or you may get a definite date to get captured. All the best.
