So....
..
What about you that is reading this??
Did any of the debates or interviews or media engagements affect your decision on which candidate to vote for??
..
Or you had a candidate in your mind all the while, and nothing shook your earliest decisions, and you finally voted for that same candidate that had always been in your mind??
..
(In other words,, what prompted your decision for the Candidate you voted for??)
..
..
I don't need anybody to tell me the particular candidate he/she voted for.
I all I need is the reason behind your decisions.

Debates are supposed to shape voting patterns.. it's a kind of pointer to the stuffs individuals are made off

One of ...in fact the biggest problems facing the country now is that they kept shielding one presidential candidate from the crucial debates in 2014/15 that would expose him for who he is..,while bombarding us with his 'kill kworopshan' stance..

You can't overemphasize the importance of debates/interviews before a position/job

Its simply vote buying. Thats what needs to be tackled in all nigeria elections. Who buys most wins the most. Nigerians are hungry so most sell their votes even if they dont prefer the candidate the most.

Many will collect your money, foods etc and still vote their conscience, many see no reason to reject those things as they see it as"our money".

I like soludo because he's far more enlightened and educated than Andy uba ozigbo.

Andy uba is certificateless and only there to loot and do the biddings of the caliphate.

Ozigbo's PDP made the people of South East poorer and the land desolate. They've got nothing to offer an igboman.

I wanted Soludo to win but the debate changed that. The PDP candidate seemed to be the best among them but unfortunately the decision lies in the hands of Anambra people not me. We have our own Hopeless Uzodinjo to deal with.

Don't worry, ndi Imo will get it right soonest. The problem is that good people left Imo politics in the hands of the likes of Arurume, Hope Uzodimma and Co.

Imo good educated men and women should show up and chase away those retired 419ners from Imo state. That is the only solution. The veritable tool to achieve is via APGA.

YES.. It does, that PDP guy was able to garner some votes because of his performance.
Also people saw how empty Andy Uba is.
Don't deceive yourself, Soludo will fail, Soludo is a paper economy, he would ended up telling them how micro economy or macro economy is fairing. Senator UBA(YPP) would have done better than all this people.

Yea.

I am not from Anambra. So I did not vote. But the debate showed us additional character of the contestants that we didn't know.

1. That Andy Uba lacked depth to even hold the office of a Senator
2. That Val Ozigbo has good private sector experience and good understanding of governance. I admire his self control
3. And that Soludo with all his national and international experience lacks comportment and composure, key qualities of a leader. He needs to show better control of himself as leader. However, I wish him well

People shared money at the Polling-units as usual, others shared Malt And Gala shaa..
But I don't think those ones affected the choices of voters much.
People taking money from you doesn't always mean they will vote for you. There is this growing tendency of people accepting money from politicians and voting as they please since the politician will not be following them into the polling units

YES..
Right in front of me at the Polling-unit.
All the parties were sharing something to those that voted for their party, while the election was going on.
Some were sharing N1k..
Others were sharing N2k..
..
Others were sharing Malt and How did they know their party was voted for?
..
..
The other video you saw (about malt and N400) happened some days before the election naa..
Even the video of rejected N5k happened some days before the election.
..
None of the videos you mentioned happened on the election day.

I always had Soludo in my mind. I want APGA to continue their good work in Anambra state. Although, I have always been their victim. First, the pursued my wife away from her shop during Peter Obi's time. Secondly, during this Obiano's time they also pursued me and my brothers away from the only shop our father left for us. But, generally, APGA has done well for Anambra people. I voted for Soludo the solution.

That debate has no meaning as far as I'm concerned. An orator or someone with sugar coated mouth will successful deceived or convinced you in believing that he is the best. But when it comes to governance they are zero. In other words, a candidate that didn't performed during debate might be the best when it comes to governance

The live interview showed me that Godwin Maduka was the best amongst all other contestants. His expert analysis of issues, his popular choice award, his philanthropy and his good network with American government gained him the love of Ndi Anambra.

It made me vote for him, good a thing I didn't make a wrong choice. Ndi Anambra also saw the same thing, no wonder they came out in their numbers to vote in Godwin Maduka as the next Governor of Anambra State.
Godwin Maduka is the man.

I don't think the debate affected the results unfolding. If it did, Andy Uba won't get 10 votes. But Anambra had already made up its mind to go with the loquacious professor. Good job, my people.

Like Soludo waited, I urge Val to wait. Good things come to those who wait on Him.

Andy Uba......hahahahaha

Debate only works in educated countries. In countries where there's a high level of poverty and illiteracy likeNigeria, it's sentiment, coercion, "ungroundness", political party, tribalism etc..

Empty Andy Uba through the debate exercise manisfested more of his emptiness. Even though nobody was counting on him before then, the debate helped people to solidify theirs decisions towards candidates of choice there by taking a ridiculous look on APC candidate who couldn't make a single valid point. Soludo the solution wuru Andy Uba na ala final.
