Hello everyone, I'd like to ask if it is safe to share my NI with recruiters. I recently contacted some and I was asked to send my NI details. However I read somewhere in several places that the NI should not be shared with anyone apart from an employer and since I am still job-hunting, I wanted to find out if it is okay to do so with a recruiter and if anyone did so while job searching and what the risks are. If no, what should my response be to the recruiter? Thanks. https://www.aaronwallis.co.uk/candidates/advice/staying-safe-when-job-searching.aspx https://www.jobsite.co.uk/advice/should-i-give-my-national-insurance-number-on-a-job-application |

iboboyswag:Hi Op, I don't consider your case a difficult one unless there is more to it..... You have failed your IS module and given a chance to re-do the project hence the change from full time to part time (called part-time recovery in HE parlance) as you can't stay on full-time mode with less than 80 credits per academic year (University regulations). To UKVI you are still a full-time student repeating a 60 credits module. You need to get on the phone and demand to speak with your uni immigration officer- they will need to advise UKVI of your expected course end date and request for an extension. Don't do emails. Stay on the phone until you speak with the immigration officer. It's not uncommon for international students to fail as long as they have been giving an opportunity to retake those modules. **do everything possibly not to fail so things don't get complicated. 9 Likes 1 Share |

It is not illegal for you to study in the UK on a Tier 2 visa, being completely online does not matter one bit. I would say it is better off focusing on specialist courses instead of a general computer science, courses in Data, CyberSec, Full Stack, etc will benefit you more. Also, take note that if he is studying in a Uni, then his fee will be much different from yours and lastly do not be moved by what someone brags about. Find your own passion and route. I wonder if people are awake on their hands and knees praying for Elon Musk to change his mind. The man is about to singlehandedly tank the stock market off a twitter poll, shebi he's the same person that destroyed dogecoin. Investors are wailing and gnashing their teeth and begging him not to do it shaa. Let's watch and see. |

Stereotypes: Too late, the poll is concluded and he promised to go with the result. More people voted Yes than No, i can't wait to see what happens at 13.30 today. I saw premarket value of 700 +,(though i doubt that value) many will be crying while a lot will be happy equally Even if he did not go with the poll result the damage is done already as many will start dumping their stocks, apparently his brother sold his stock last friday. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-59182278 |
