I don't think I've ever witnessed a move so sudden shocked.

Where were all of our media houses and their sources? grin
Dennis move was like this too, but the thing is, transfer window is not open, so no one was actually expecting any transfer.

Na you wan make am warm bench abi Foster has been exceptional this season? No be his mates be starters for EPL clubs this season? From Henderson, to Pope, to Meslier, to Ramsdale and others. I was actually hoping that the boy will go to France instead, never saw this EPL deal coming. That is good, and I hope Watford survives the drop. The boy might even end up in Spain with Granada or Italy with Udinese, all good options.

That is true, It was also Pinnick that advised Watford to sign the previous Nigerian players before Okoye. In fact, Pinnick is a good friend of the Pozo family, so more players will still join after Okoye.

He won't bench Foster and Bachmann though.

He should just keep going back to Rotterdam on loan until the road is clear for him to come back to EPL.
He can bench Bachmann or whatever his name is.

Forster belong to the past. I'm sure he's more than 37!

They are obviously preparing to replace Foster. Man is 38 already and probably has one more season in him.

Moreso he's not coming in in January. He'll still be at Rotterdam on loan till the end of the season. So that's good

Arthur Okonkwo and Chibuzor Josh Oluwayemi are the other two young goalkeepers I'm tipping for a move for first team football in the summer.

You dey understand well so? Ask yourself what influenced Watford's decision to sign Maduka, he is not even in form and Watford don't need a new keeper at the moment

Newcastle just got a rare gem
Mike Emenalo is a real deal and good ambassador of Nigeria football.

I remember Emenalo left Enugu Ranger to study in Boston university just like Jonathan Akpoborie who had his education in university of Buffalo ,after his education he continued with his professional career and cap it with US 94 appearance.

I always appreciating Mike Emenalo and Jonathan Akpoborie cos it is not easy to pursue university education and still came back as a thorough professional, especially Akpoborie who still remain Nigeria best in bundesliga.

Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye will move to Premier League side Watford at the end of the season, Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam have confirmed on their official website.

The Rotterdam-based aide will reportedly receive around seven million euros for Okoye which will make the Nigerian shot-stopper the most expensive goalkeeper sale in the history of the club.

Details shortly.

later una go dey cry say uzoho better pass am cheesy
Oga Charles just say good move which one be say una go say Uzoho better pass am.

Hope you know how many EPL keepers wey be second choice for their national team,so Maduka signing for Watford meaning Uzoho is useless.

Baba we have different opinions and I want to tell you that I rate Uzoho than Maduka.

This Clubs are not run like nigeria companies or enterprise where man know man influence recruitment

West brom signed Ideye then from Kiev in similar fashion even though he never made the world cup list
