You bought a Rottweiler for 100k (Rottweilers are the less type of breed and pedigrees are more expensive and demanding than normal breeds , don’t forget we have other profitable and demanding breeds like husky - 400-500k ,cane corso 300k - 500k , mastiff 800k - 1.2M ) and other fast selling breeds of dog , I’m only using Rott as a case study here because of the high demand) , the total cost of feeding and vaccination till second heat ranges to 120k - 300k . Your Rottweiler gives birth to an average of 6-10 , Rottweiler are currently being sold for 100k , so averagely a net profit of 600k - 1.2M . How much was your total capital 220k - 400k and your return is 600k - 1.2M and don’t forget a dog litters at least twice in a year .. Now imagine having a company that solely deals with breeding and other services related to dog .. Take “doctor Tessy brand” as a case study ..

Please , I need you to all analyse this ! I’m a dog breeder so I understand the risk (parvo, Campylobactor , kennel cough and the rest ) , there is a proper risk management plan .

Your analysis is a bit too simplistic. The risks which you have rightly noted should be allocated made provision for using worst case scenario. Then you should also consider 8 month cycles. Heat in 6 months whelping 2 months later so 2 litters in a 12 month cycle may not occur except your dam has 4 month cycles. Make allowance for "no show" situations too.

Of course I will expect your plans covers progesterone or cytology tests before mating to manage risks like no show from blind mating etc.

Furthermore the breed and quality of your breeding stock can affect that ROI figure/ projections. The margin of error for these averages can be surprising wide. A quality and breed specific analysis may be better. For example if you want to do GSD, premium quality, pedigree long hair may be imported too. An adolescent female may cost you 1.2M minimum. It can also be as high as 2..3m. Depending on origin blood lines etc. You can recoup that capital and other attendant costs in very first successful breeding. Very possible. Then every other 8 months again another successful litter can bring 2.1m revenue with profit of about 1.6m deferring stud fees, vet fees, nutrition and care.

Do note all these calculations can fall like a pack of cards in 1 minute if something goes wrong

Well said sir ,I like your break down . Thanks for the knowledge , I have gained some valuable insight . I have some of this covered in business analysis too , My main reason for sharing the simple analysis is majorly because of the OP that called me a scammer because of my above post . I never intended to share any of the business plan or analysis here on NL .. Thanks for the comment once more , some other people would learn from this

I understand you but firstly , I didn't say people should come and invest , this isn't an investment company , it is me trying to start a business and calling out for people in similar field interested . I only said I was looking for partners/investor and before we can even proceed with the business both me , my partners and investors would definitely sign some legal document . This isn't a business we are starting with 50k , 100k , 200k . So anyone who is definitely interested in working with me we would have seen , talk , discuss at length , do feasibility research and all of that , bring our lawyers and sign legal papers . Every business has it risk , some are worth trying while some are not , it is left to my partners to decide if they want to proceed or not . The misconception was you tagging me a "scammer" . It okay to make enquires and drop your opinion but you went ahead to tag me a scam like we I have scammed you before or you have heard of my name involved in a scam , I have worked so heard in keeping my reputation here on NL , you just addressing me as scam over the fact that you feel 50% ROI isn't possible in dog breeding is wrong . We are both Nigerians striving hard to make ends , I cherish reviews and what people say about me here , so please next time make your enquires and not just tag things based on how feel it to be , you never know what your word it will affect .
