Boruto casually learnt Rasengan in record time, same with Rock Lee's child that was just casually unlocking gates all of a sudden.... Chouji's daughter performed his forbidden butterfly technique back then jus laidat...

So someone that is even an Anbu member doing something as basic as earth style shouldn't be an issue in the anime

Sad reality that Boruto anime decided to serve us...

The entire plot of the anime is nerf the previous generation..., so that the new generation will look OP later.. They have already succeeded in nerfing Naruto, and while they were doing that they decided to delete Sasgay's Rinnegan in the most useless fashion...

Their end game is the Jougan, for now no one knows what it does, they have no idea what to do with it... But later on it will be the most OP thing, and that is how Boruto will become the strongest Shinobi
