The first time I shed tears for an animal was 21 years ago...my pet labrador 'Cindy'. Second time was when I lost a Rothweiler pup which I got as a gift. Travelled from Aba to Enugu and back in a day for this pup, my first Roth pup. Fvcking parvo!

I understand it if white folks show love to their pets especially dogs and cats. But for Nigerians especially youth majorly the females, ya'll should stop the fake display of affection y'all aren't giving to ya siblings and parents at home. It's disgusting fgs.

Reminds me of the day they had to lay my husbands dog down, the dog was his buddy for 14 years, a high school graduation gift from his parents. He cried like a baby. I strong my heart say I no fit cry because of dog, me when de chop dog for naija. He keeps say that day was one of his most unhappy day.

Don't like pets

I mistakenly killed a chick with my bicycle this afternoon and watching it die made me cry coz I have never killed animal before in my life. Besides I don't even have the heart of slaughtering animal

There's this she-goat that my granny gave us ...this goat grew to be like a member of the family...she knows everybody In our house and eats everything even biscuits and cheese balls

23 Dec 2019 , I came back from school and realized that my elder bro killed the goat for Christmas celebration.... omo eeeeh I felt like crying...my younger sis cried for days cus of that goat. thank God she has three kids tho

Please dear sirs/ma's, Please forgive me if this post is offensive. I am posting it here because I need urgent help and I don't have any other choice.

I had an accident on 22nd of May, 2021 in which my left leg got broken in three places. I got hit by a car while crossing to the other side of the road. The car was plying one way. It was in the night, around 8pm. The driver drove away after hitting me. I was rescued and brought home by people in the area.

The accident I had was a critical one that almost took my life, but thanks to God for sparing my life and thanks to all the good people on this forum who helped me financially when my wound was fresh, my leg is getting better gradually. I am now using crutches.

Please I need your help because the car accident I had has rendered me useless. I can't work or go out to hustle for money because I am still battling with wounds and fractures I got from the car accident. My mum is old, not working class. Before I had this accident, I was the one putting food on her table. Please help us, hunger is killing us.
