The way the federal government lawyers have been delaying Nnamdi Kanus case, or is it different from what he seeks?

I sense international community have asked Buhari why he is delaying Kanu case, he say no be am dey cause am say na justice Binta nyako... So this publicity na the justification.

What is the penalty for disobeying court orders?

No need for this..

Set an 18 month limit for the conclusion of any case from commencement to delivery of judgement...

No need to military behaviour

Only if Buhari knows that he was aloud the platform because of the office he occupies. He would have been given the El-Rufai treatment

President Muhammadu Buhari has called on the judiciary to devise and deploy stringent measures against lawyers, who in the cause of servicing their clients employ all kinds of delay tactics thereby hindering the speedy dispensation of justice in the country.

What a freaking hypocritical statement! Why NOT start with your Attorney General, Mala Mumu, IDIOT?

On this I support you.

Many Nigerians wouldn't see reasons on what the President said but it's only when it affects us, affect our Tribesmen, affect our job or work,we come to look for a voice!
The truth is that our Judiciary are prone to Polical matters than it's Citizens that is reeling the burden of injustice due to delay justice!
Is it not said ' justice delayed is Justice denied'
Many Nigerians are not interested coming to Courts for setting genuine dispute!
Recently,a State in the Southwest said it's having over 2347 Cases in it's Courts' then just multiply with 36 States of Federation! How many thousands of Cases are in the Appeal Courts alone!
Many Cases are just in the cooler. For instance, why should a case of an Industrial Courts( Labour Matters) to Appeal Court be taking 9 years,10 years in Nigeria?
Industrial matters are labour issues and are based on technicality and rules of law,as it affects the Company. Why should a Judge gave a ruling to favour a company when the company has flouted it's own rules and is glaring to the Judge e g Staff Disciplinary Committee-where everyone should stand and state his/her own side of the story!
A Judge saw that it was glaringly missing in a Company but couldn't summon the Courage to ask the Company why they shoot themselves in the legs by not following through, yet have a blind Judgment on Fair Trial!
If it takes a Decade to decide Cases then what type of rewards would you give,to pave ways against inflations on those seeking Justice?
If you supposed to compensate with 15m- 7 years ago, then, would it still command the same price today?
Nigeria is terribly in bad shape!
Is Nigeria Justice System the last hope for Common Man now in Nigeria?

The whole system needs major reform, why should a case be taking so many years. My Old man has a pending land case since I was in Jss3. I have gone ahead to finish secondary school , university , started working and gotten married and the case is still in court.
But electoral cases get speedy attention for useless politicians.
If this is not a very useless Justice system, can someone point any worse than this.
Even Snails & turtles are faster than the Justice system in Nigeria.

This is continuation of Interference in the Judiciary by the Executive arm of government.
VP Osinbajo should have known that.

Nigeria’s executive branch of the government is known for all sorts of impunity but the Judiciary will not intervene.

Nigeria’s executive arm of government is on building modern standard gauge rail lines in a foreign country while most parts of Nigeria are still on outdated narrow gauge rail lines.
