If we don't have a robust and strong judiciary most of these things we're clamouring for, like state police etc will be more of a disadvantage than an advantage. As long as our governors and presidents are more powerful than the courts, then our present type of government is actually the best. As stupid as that may sound.

Terrorism or no terrorism, they should be quick in delivering judgements, anybody found guilty should be made to face the law, including the federal government, they are not above the law too.

Geeman2006:
The whole system needs major reform, why should a case be taking so many years. My Old man has a pending land case since I was in Jss3. I have gone ahead to finish secondary school , university , started working and gotten married and the case is still in court.
But electoral cases get speedy attention for useless politicians.
If this is not a very useless Justice system, can someone point any worse than this.
Even Snails & turtles are faster than the Justice system in Nigeria.

Just imagine,if the Case is their own or blood related or 'order from above', would they allowed it to be of a decade old in their Chambers? Both the govt, the Bench and the Bars( the lawyers) are all involved in delayed justice in Nigeria!
Osika ko ni se tie bee!( Wicked one will not treat their own like that,as they know how to fix it on time)! Just imagine how Policians in government get Justice timely and quickly in Nigeria and you want the World to respect us,no way!
God will help us.
