Are you that lazy that you can't go to the bank to get the information you need?

What makes you so sure that the person you were chatting with is actually a staff of the bank?!

Bros, I am not lazy. Not everyone has the time to go and queue in bank for hours.

Lastly, yes I am very sure .

Stop using your card to purchase things online, you can use online wallets that accepts transfers like fair money and kuda bank to fund your wallet then use it to pay for your subscription, electricity, data, shopping...etc.

Don't and I repeat don't ever upload your card details on any website, cos once the website gets compromised, your account will as well.

Very soon Nigerians will stop using ATM cards due to fear of theft,

This I have seen.

Have already stopped mine 4 years ago

In other not to get your account compromised, memorize and gently scratch off the CCV at the back of your ATM card. I have also seen someone inscribed his ATM pin on his card.

Mine was #149k last September 11th 2020
It still feels like I lost my soul mate.

Access Bank staff was just looking at me like cinema while I complain. All they did was point to a mallam rolling himself on the floor. He just lost 4m

They were debiting me 16k and 15k simultaneously until it got to 149k that's when the bank I have been calling since morning then blocked my account.

Funny enough I know someone that got double alert after withdrawing 150k from atm and the money did not go through but he was debited...he went to complain at the bank and the bank after like one month refunded twice. ..

Well I'm aware that some scammers clone online customer care portals of banks therefore if you want to avoid falling into their traps then you need to find time to go to the bank otherwise you could unwittingly hand over sensitive information about your bank account while unknowingly chatting with a fraudster

at the back of your atm card, there is a 3 digit number. Simply memorize and gently scratch that 3digit number, also be careful not to input your card details on malicious/cloned websites such as dating sites requesting for atm details to verify age.

Same FBN deducted ₦809.68 from my account this yesterday but got the SMS this morning. The painful part is that I didn't initiate any transaction. First Bank is used to this nonsense.
Same thing happened to me, I never used USSD for transaction even if I did it should be 7naira per transaction, are they saying I used ussd for more than 100times, I have requested they close down my account, this is the second time they are doing it this month.
