Football is all about movement. Chelsea wing backs are better on the ball and their movement is opening up the midfield for Kante and Odoi to run into. Chelsea and Leicester are playing the 352 with the right set of players. The quality of the wing backs is the difference. Unlike Rohr!
playing 3 5 2 without good wing backs is like playing 5 3 2 with five defenders. So your wing play is stiffled.
This is worse when there is little creativity from central midfield due to the defensive prowess or attitude of your opponents
who block everything going through the middle with defensive midfielders.
In the process you leave your creative wingers on the bench and your strikers are frustrated as there is no service.
This is what happened to Rohr in the last international matches we played.
When you have very good wingers, playing a system without wing backs like 4 2 3 1, 4 4 2, etc is the best
especially when you dont have good wing backs. The irony is ola aina and zaidu sanusi are better as wing backs.
Rohrs problem is his tactical ineptitude

I will give it to Rodgers and their team on their work on Iheanacho. His movement upfront is crispy. His ball controls are tidy and his decision making is sound.

It is a mystery how Ziyech is not a regular for Chelsea.

Perhaps consistency

Turns on today
Turns off tomorrow
Yet I never doubted his quality
Not even once

this is so unprofessional of him if this is true..
Taking jibe at a professional club sounds so I unprofessional of him
it's not a jib, rather the remainder of the situation on ground,

Man United had a reputation, as a successful, strong dynamic club, but are struggling at the moment, inspite of the talents,

same situation Naija is, we have the talent in all positions, but still struggling to grind out result,

even where we are supposed to be winning like 3-0. 4-0. 5-0. heck, even 10-0

Thiago silva and Koulibaly, the most intelligent defenders I have watched.

It's not about Soumare's positioning, he is a defensively minded midfielder so he is attracted to the position Ndidi takes, the problem is lack of communication so when one is aggressive one sits back, Ndidi had the same problem with Mendy
I don't understand what you mean, but Soumare's positioning has been poor in every game I've watched, even with Tielemans.

But he is sometimes a minus for Nigeria and he is ruining our football. He is one of the reasons Rohr discarded the proven 4-3-3 and went for 3-5-2 just to accommodate the blazing hot Iheanacho, sacrificing our creative wingers (Ejuke, Chuks, Kalu, Onyekuru etc) in the process.

I do not appreciate whatever Rogers is doing on Nacho as long as he is being formed into a supporting striker.

Modern day football is evolving away from those type of strikers. It's either you are a striker (attacker) able to play from the wings like Sadio Mane or you are an attacking midfielder like Kevin De Brune.

For example, Iwobi began as a striker but was molded into a midfielder at Arsenal.

We need to ditch the 3 5 2 all together. That formation does not utilize our strength to the fullest. Our strength are in our full backs (Aina, Zaidu, Ebuehi etc) and our wingers. We are blessed in these positions.

If you rewatch tapes of the last 2019 Afcon, a significant number of our goals came from these positions e.g Aina assist, Chuks goals etc.
It's the same story with most of our outstanding qualifier games. For example Kalu scored from the wings Vs Benin, Chuks heavily involved in the 4 goal thriller vs Sierra Leone and lots more.

Ndidi's positioning has been poor as well, but it's a result of miscommunication between two of them

Sarr is a waste. The guy is at the center of everything wrong in Watford's attack.

Since their last game

Nkoulou is back and he is better than ekong ,so it’s not surprising, but I think ekong is better than the other guy he is pairing

Did anyone watch Soccer Africa this morning? Peterside Idah said somethings about Rohr, he talked about Rohr losing the dressing room, as in girls were brought to the hotel where the players were and that two players fought during the match or so.
Anyone watched the show?
