henrybangs44: Shattapp ! How many Oil Blocs are owned by Niger Delta people? I mean those who bear the brunt of the disasters done to our fishing and farming environments ? Zero But parasitic North own over 85% of all the Oil Blocs. If this is not wickedness done by successive Northern Military Heads of state, I wonder what else is termed termed evil. TooMuchStuff: But More than 15 licenses have already been granted for both modular & large scale operations in the country now as we speak. See for yourself: https://www.thecable.ng/full-list-dangote-waltersmith-private-refineries-licensed-by-dpr/amp Not everything is North, North, North. |

TooMuchStuff: Nice point. A good follow up would be why Good luck never righted some of those wrongs during his tenure. Or could he not even as President? |

henrybangs44:Military fiat or decree is a jack boot stealing in the name of authority with Guns. You can hardly do much to fight back. Northern thieves in power since our independence have always stole from Southern resources to develop Northern Poverty ravaged region who are only good at fvcking underage ragged girl child to produce millions of almajiris. Today the almajiris of yesterday are today terrorists spilling bloods everywhere in the country. Misfits. Parasites |

Asour:Shattapp!! Indimis Bayeros Sani Bellos Ty Danjuma Maidaribe Dangote/dantatas And many many other Northerners are those that you need to talk to. Not we ND victims. Yes the licenses were given but you don't know much about other bureaucratic and financial bottlenecks. We handled a project in Ogoni clean up operation last year. You need to see what oil pollution have done to the biodiversity. Oga just chill abeg.... |

TooMuchStuff: I was born in PHC. Also raised there. I schooled in Bayelsa too. And while I am no oil industry professional, Our people (I consider myself versed a bit in happenings in Niger Delta) are too volatile to corporate bodies. And I'm not just referring to companies in the Oil industry alone. By the way, half of the licensed operators on that link are Southerners (they don't have to be ND). The next question should be what the Niger Delta President did to right the wrongs/imbalances during his tenure. About bottlenecks, that's a Nigerian issue. Everything in Nigeria suffers bottlenecks and that due to widespread corruption. My point is that you guys ascribe so much power to north. If they were as powerful as you suggest, why didn't their candidate win the 2011 presidential elections ? |

Coded081: So as to meet up with useless societal expectations and have social validations say dem don arrive. Shebi just yesterday, someone here was blasting the young guy who arrange a surprise birthday celebration for his mum right in the market. The person said "when others are dropping SUV" for their mum. It is expectations like that, that make people who no get fear of God go into various kinds of illegal hustle, just so they can prove they have arrived. What a pity. |
