My first car was Honda City, I've driven end of discussion, discussion continues, even pilot which I bought from US and am still driving it. I had driven Toyota corolla which was bought from metropolitan autos, by Mobil at oba akran, tear rubber and i drove it for years too. I also drove a toyota Avensis, though tokunbo but it doesn't matter. Based on my personal experience, Honda is better.

This is the mistake most Nigerians make.

All Hondas don't have the leg pull issue, and Honda civic doesn't pull legs. But, say, Honda accords from 2003 to 2008 had the issue that often happens due to poor maintenance of Nigerians plus our bad roads.

They fixed the issue in higher models of Honda accords.

The diff is much.
52 (2.2L engine/Camry) -40l (1.8L corolla) = 12Litre diff....
That's a lot in my opinion for the same journey

Civic legs no dey pull.. even for accords it is more common with 203-207 models. Newer models don't pull unless you fail to maintain your car. Same will happen to any car if you don't maintain it

Corolla is a reliable and economic(fuel) car no doubt . It's parts are generally expensive due to very high demand. Parts by parts comparison with the camry corrolla parts are just too pricey.

Go for the Honda at least if any fault you can repair it with less than 100-200k and you are good to go and shtart making profit more than the Corolla guy.

He can never spend 200k unless he want to change the engine. He doesn't need to change his gear. If engine is not faulty. Civic is his first and only choice here

You're very funny. Honda very fragile compared to Toyota. Go and do your finding sir. Also, and if corolla jumped up to 1.8m, the Honda will depreciate in price. Sit down there. How much is accord 10-12 model 6 years ago. It has depreciated, right

I sold my civic 08 within 3 days with plead from the buyer. Bought it for 650 Nigerian used and after like 6/7 months sold it off. So, don't say what you don't know sir. Honda have more resale value. If the difference between accord 16/17 models and corolla of same year is 2 million, after 2-5 years usage, and sold, forget, you can neversell with 2 million difference.
