This will further fester Ghana`s INFERIORITY COMPLEX about Nigeria`s domination. The other day I heard one of them say trash about Burna Boy getting the attention because he shared same title `YE` with Kanye West`s. Why has Shatta Wale not blown beyond Ghana despite sharing same name with rapper WALE. Ghana`s best is WACK & instead of them to work hard they blame it on Nigerians & Ghanaian DJs not allowing them showcase their act in Ghana. See them two posts up me. It's a tough one. I see Angelique Kidjo winning cos they just love her.
I want wizzy to win cos dt album has broken plenty African records and is just sooo special.
But i don't mind Femi Kuti winning. He has been nominated 6 times wt no win. He don try.

I agree with you that it's tough. For me, Celia was better than Mother Nature artistically. Also, more than 50% of arstist featured on MIL are Grammy winners. Starting with Burna Boy, Damian Marley, H.E.R, Ella Mai, Justin Bieber; then we have others who have done excellently well like Skepta, Tay Iwar, Terri, Buju and finally the goddess herself Tems. Recording Academy should consider that. If there is an album that really pushed AfroBeats this year around the globe, it's MIL.
Also, let's put commercial success aside, sonically the album is miles ahead of Mother Nature. If Angelique Kidjo wins then it has to be sentiments.
