BluntTheApostle:That is interference, did they order his employment in the first place ![]() Both the presidency and the NFF should get lost |

Lamasta:You people should stop this interference talk. The biggest political interferer in football is China, but FIFA does not talk because China is a big funder of FIFA. But when it comes to developing countries, FIFA starts flexing muscles. How is it even possible for government not to interfere in football in Africa where government is the biggest funder of football. The government will fund the NFF, pay coach salaries, build stadiums, and so on and so forth, and you still expect the government not to interfere. Abeg!!! NFF is totally dependent on FG. So, how do you expect FG not to have a stake? |

BluntTheApostle:Nigeria is part of FIFA so it must adhere to FIFA rules and regulations that stipulates government must not interfere In football related matters abi how else should I explain it for you to understand Sacking Rohr should be the prerogative of the NFF board and not one order from the presidency... |
| Re: Sports Minister, Dare, Orders NFF To Sack Rohr Immediately by BluntTheApostle(m): 9:38pm On Nov 23, 2021 |
Lamasta:But funding NFF is not interference abi? Building or renovating existing stadia is not interference abi? Releasing funds for staff salaries and coach salaries is not interference abi? FIFA did not consider political structure before making that law. It can't work in developing countries where FAs are totally dependent on government. And I still maintain that ordering NFF to sack Rohr (because many Nigerians are calling for it) is not political interference. |

BluntTheApostle:The appointment of Rohr is a contractual agreement between the NFF and Rohr and if one party is not satisfied with the other then the contract can be terminated not that one order from abuja will just show up and the next thing is sack, is that how it is done ![]() We should be doing things right in this country abeg, we no like Rohr no be say if he wants to be sacked will be based on one order..... |

dre11:This is authoritative. There is no severance benefits in Rohr's contract. Nothing like that. The corporate world should take note before they are swindled by NFF officials that they are soliciting for funds to payoff the coach. Veteran Sports Administrator and LTV Lagos sports anchor, Godwin Enakhena confirmed this on his sports program dated November 22 2021. He said he was a privy to the contract and nothing like severance benefits or specific amount to be paid to him if his contract was terminated before expiration date. The problem of Nigerian football is Amaju Pinnick,President of Nigeria Football Federation. He is so greedy that he cares less about growth of Nigerian football. Always like cutting corners. At the moment, the league is in limbo. And how do we produce stars and compete on the continent if we don't have virile league? He must go with his officials. His rein is a mitigated disaster! |

Leonbonapart:Exactly. Amaju Pinnick is one of the problems of Nigerian football. He was put there, with the assistance of his cousin, Ex Governor Uduaghan of Delta state who bribed delegates to NFF General Elections held in Warrri a couple of years ago. He was not the best material. Mr Giwa,a candidate from Jos,and Proprietor of Giwa FC was the preferred candidate. Since he assumed duties, Nigerian football has nosedived. Strings of poor results. The league no longer viable. Always on firebrade approach to select continental representatives. As a result, they can't compete well and always crashed out at preliminary stages. At the moment, the league still in limbo. In fact, he is a misfit and mitigated disaster. |

Lamasta:So on who's behalf did the nff go into contractual agreement with rohr? Somalians abi... Nigerians voiced their displeasure in the coach and called for his sack including the sports minister so it is imperative for the nff to sack the coach because it's the overwhelming public interest of Nigerians |
| Re: Sports Minister, Dare, Orders NFF To Sack Rohr Immediately by Lamasta(m): 10:36am On Nov 24, 2021 |
Mrtaye:Oga am not a fan of Rohr but if He's going to be sacked its the job of NFF nothing concern presidency they should only advice the NFF for the way forward and not giving a order of sack... |
