Stop believing the social media narrative. Do you truly believe that people actually died at the roll gate?

If so, where are the pictures of the bodies? Where is the footage of people being hit? The soldiers merely fired into the air to disperse a group constituting a nuisance and obstructing traffic calling for regime change.

They are lucky they weren't tried for treasonous felony for calling for the overthrow of a democratically elected official.
You need to be in a cage because you reason less than my German Shepherd.

Lai Mohammed has a date with history. The blood of the victims shall continue to haunt him until he breathe his last days on earth. Rubbishing the panel report is an injustice to the dead and living who suffered the trauma.
He is a disgrace to Muslim Faith. Maybe,he will relocate from the country after expiration of this regime. I don't see him surviving the people's wrath!

You can't write a report riddled with unverified reports and expect logical people to swallow it without questions.

The panel must be cross examined to defend their report to show the world how they arrived at their conclusions.
You definitely don't know the meaning of Cross-examination.

Exactly. I have proofs of 2 different families whose children never returned home till today after visiting lekki toll gate on the 20th of October 2020. That was the last day they ever saw them. I hope their names appeared on that list cos I'd personally protest if their names don't make that list and encourage the parents to come out with proofs. They were sent back the day the went to the military hospital on account of not granted permission to visit. I learnt some bodies were loaded into military trucks and driven off by the same military who came to shoot. These leaders have soiled their hands into a crab's hole. They ain't seen nothing yet. The shootings shouldn't have happened in the first place and this would be their worst moves ever.

You write a report riddled with fallacies meant to heat up the nation and you expect not to be cross examined to defend your allegations??

You can focus on the meaning, I'll focus on what the motive of the panel is for this mis-information.

A "logical" critic would have suggested and thought it wise and "logical" for a Minister of informatiom to have waited for the final conclution of the White Paper Report from the committee set up
by the Lagos state gov't before he reacted. But as expected, the 'autopilot driven gov't Minister,' did not disappoint; while he was flanked and cheered by all his lowest of "illogical" IQ laden fans, kick-started and summarised the report have-done without the final submission of the White Paper. Indeed, Nigeria has been completelly ridiculed and embarrassed on the international stage by the 'autopilot driven gov't minister of APC and his supposedly "logical" but rather "illogical" supporters. Spit!

Have some sense. It was the job of the panel to ask the questions and cross examine witnesses and testimonies. This they've done and found the government culpable.

Think my friend, think next time before spewing garbage.
Where is the evidence?

C'mon now.

If one isn't biased, shouldn't we have seen blood splatters on the walls and tarmac of the toll plaza?

Shouldn't we have pictures from survivors of that date?

Shouldn't we have families coming out to seek justice?

In this day and age, with the proliferation of cameras, in Lagos for that matter, we should have been inundated with reels and reels of photographs, blood stained clothes, splatters, parents and loved ones, ballistics, post-mortem reports.

C'mon now.

You're a very foolish person.. anyway I'm not surprised they pay unintelligent people to defend their narrative. A panel that was aired live and was very transparent for everyone to see. You didn't follow their investigation and now you want to subject a panel with a highly respected Judge to a moot court quack APC trial. How much do they pay you to be foolish.

The report was not conclusive, let us be objective not emotional...there are grave consequences for Nigerians as a people by amplifying these types of narratives...if arms embargo is placed on the military, insecurity will increase, terrorists will be on rampage.

Kemi raised some salient questions, no one is answering them.

Where are the victims relatives?
Where are the dead bodies?
Why are there no trace of the supposed victims on social media, when it was the main tool used to spread the protests...

Let's be objective and reasonable...the last arms embargo gave bokoharam and terrorists leverage, this is what made our government spend over N50billion dollars fighting this war, with thousands dead...cos America will not give us the specific military equipment to quickly end it, due to Amnesty reports of old.
Is Amnesty really helping us?
Amnesty is not the "holy bible" we should not blindly believe them all the time.

Re: We Are Not Surprised Govt Is Denying Lekki Tollgate Incident — Amnesty Int'l by plaindealer: 1:15pm On Nov 24, 2021
All we are saying, show us dead bodies and families of dead people.

Shebi this is what amnesty people used to do?

Find victims and their families, show the world that massacre happened and people died, show us grieving parents

The panel sef, doctor say people didn't die from gun wounds at the LTG.

Forensic expert hired by the panel itself concluded that military bullet did not kill people at the LTG.

All the experts said no massacre, but the kabukabu lying panel wrote report based on den say den say by some invisible person that we don't know, was never invited and never testified.

How do we them accept a report from shadowy individual who did not testify or ever placed under oath to tell the truth

The reason why the panel did this was because they did not want their den say den say person to be cross examined or exposed by the other side.

Any report or findings based on any witness not placed under oath or present to testify openly is inadmissible, not only in Nigeria, but all over the world.

This is why the report is dead on arrival and won't see the light of the day.

They can not attack dead people because they are already dead, listing their names and identity won't kill dead people.

You can not say people die just by word of mouth or without facts to show that people actually died, it's not done anywhere in the world.

These excuses are lane and ineffective.

I was expecting this denial.
Did you really expect the federal government to accept they killed tons of youths at the toll gate?
It will make them look bad, hence they will deny it strongly...
