You must be really keeping count of the names mentioned on this thread for you to arrive at this conclusion.... Cus I really don't see the correlation between Dennis and Onyeka who obviously play different positions and the demand for new addition in each position based on individual skillet is different...
oh, c'mon Daniel, this is not about positions now. Its about praises for weekly performance. That's the point. Not about positions. Someone used the excuse of coming to Epl just this season, thus me bringing in Onyeka too, to counter that excuse. There, you have it. The correlation!!

Oh, yes i do keep count in a way.

This won't have happened if Nerdie weekly match day analysis on Nigeria players was still ongoing though. I'm sure Dennis would have gotten his mention from there. Outside that its an all time low. Sincerely.

I understand, it may look like an antics and pushing of an agenda to you but the dude is saying the raw fact.., I don't care if it's an antics or not so far he's saying it as it's..

Yes I am aware about the comments on Dennis here, but pls you guys should stop hyping nonsense and turn this thread into a hyping zone for some particular set of player.

If we can't hype our players, then who should do that?
Who should we hype?

What will be the essence of this thread?

What will be the essence of us supporting the super eagles?

If you give many of them chance dem go rate Uchebo ahead of Victor Moses grin

I don't doubt it. grin grin

Why i even hate it more is that come next 6years, they might do exactly what they're doing to VicMo, to Osimhen, Ndidi or Iwobi, Nacho. That's what irks me bad.

Those running our football run it like its some street team in iyana ipaja.

How did they arrive at those comments from Omeruo, yet debunk the sex party by saying 'they can write whatever they can write'?

So Omeruo had a person comment that they felt should be passed across asap but when Balogun complained about bad admin, he was crucified. grin grin grin

This football space needs a total wipe out. Even Luxembourg are not this silly with comments in the heat of denials. Olajire Should do better next time abeg.

In a bid to clear the air, more dust about how things are run refills the cleared air. grin

First of all the journalist is not part of the nff.
Plus a journalist will always have different sources na. He might know someone in the player's camp.

As for the they can write whatever comment I will have to put that on lack of training when it comes to speaking to the media. That is just how we Nigerians talk, we will say "I no go talk again" then proceed to talk more grin

You are definitely not keeping count of anything... Scroll down and check the comments here from Saturday when both Dennis and Onyeka scored..

I don't understand you guys... On one part, some of you complain that we overhype our players... On the other hand, some complain of favoritism..And when you go ahead and point out a player flaw,it is termed disrespect and hate!

Thought as much.

Besides the infrastructure is an eyesore. They should be renovating, expanding or moving to a new stadium like their Everton, Tottenham did. Its high time. At least they should target something like this(all blue) before the next 3Olympics come.

Before someone comes to overhype OUK. grin

Lemme guess, Anayo will be in Europe by end of WC. Replacement no even ready yet.

Dem get Everton and Tottenham money? Norwich is using a stadium built in the 30s and all they do is renovate. It's like wanting a ferrari when u can only afford to maintain an Honda.

Anayo dey chop him bucks and I can't blame him. Let's see what happens in the future but Tunisia doesn't sell players fast normally.

That's the problem with many of our home groomed players reason why I respect Oshimen here
Many upon getting to Europe they think they've arrived and been not disciplined they start partying, clubbing and more. Just same way we have unserious student likewise we have unserious footballers

Being that this home groomed players weren't schooled in European state of the art academics already put them at a disadvantage against their European counterparts meaning they will need to work and train extra hard to meet up but many dont know. Talents is not enough to make it possible you need discipline and hard work too

Sometimes you see us here canvassing for foŕeign born we are doing this because of the exposure, learning and rudiments of football they've been exposed to besides the real age factor. Many of our home groomed players upon getting overseas they lost it

Since you started canvassing for foreign borns and inviting them to the NT where have they ever taken you. Tell me one foreign born that has ever achieved great success in GWG. Abeg , forget matter.

A centre back pairing of Akpoguma and Bassey is not bad with zaidu/collins/aina and Awaziem/ Ebuehi on the left/right back positions. Balogun/ Ekong as back up.

No need to proceed.

Your selections here shows how you deduce talent. You only rate players who go on to bag great legacies?

I deliberately asked for skillful, not great, and you selected DROGBA, who we all know didn't have skill as a strong point but was a great no doubt.

A football lover like you would have frowned if someone regarded Ndombele, Ben Arfa, Hachim Mastour or Carrasco as some of the most skillful players ever.

Why? Because they did not become great.

Do you know who Alex Ferguson regarded as the best talent he had ever seen? RAVEL MORRISON who no club wanted at the start of this season.

Look at who real footballers classify as the best opponents they've ever faced:

Imagine a world-class star like Rashford regard Koscielny as the best player he's ever faced.

Bellerin – Douglas Costa
Alaba – Walcott
Kimmich – Morata
Ronaldo – Ashley Cole
Rashford – Koscielny
Greenwood – Fulham's Joe Bryan
Hazard – Zabaleta
Di Maria – Ivanovic
Vardy – Smalling
Bale - Micah Richards

So when I say Dessers is one of the best strikers I have seen, a viewer like you would never agree, not because he is not good but because he has not won golden boot at U17 level or been mentioned by dailymail.

A viewer like you would have never regarded Kante at Caen as one of the best midfielders he has ever seen, but Leicester scouts saw this and signed him.

Know the difference between greatness and quality.
To each his own,Mr Skillfull, if you say Dessers is one of the best strikers you have ever seen, then congrats to you, no need to shalaye. Na table soccer u still dey watch oga mi.

Can there be greatness without quality? Greatness is quality demonstrated consistently at a high platform. But I give it to you, your response was so apt, well thought off and exceptional written. Well cooked, spiced and greatly presented manure.

Wish I could like your post a hundred times. Talent is never enough. To be world or top class in this game requires years of hardwork, dedication and discipline.

Like you rightly said when we quickly go for foreign born talents it's not because we have some oyinbo complex but we recognize that they have been brought up with the right football education and they will most likely improve their game. Many of our locally produced talents need to be ambitious and push on to succeed. Not leaving a flashy lifestyle when you are nothing in football terms.

Guys like Osimhen and Awoniyi have good work ethic that's why they are doing well. Dennis too has put his head down lately hope he continues working hard and improving his game.

Kelechi really needs to get serious. If only he appreciates how good he can be then he wouldn't be doing all this childish s**t.

Well said Brother

I love and crave for excellence so much
Just believe anything worth doing should be done with all seriousness and desire to be the best in that field

I wonder how Nacho feels seeing oshimen commanding the No. 9 shirt for club and country when in very essence He is even more gifted than the lad when it comes to scoring goals and assisting

The only hope we have from this home groomed players are those that jet out from our academics at least they still have age on their side with bit of discipline and dedication they can rise up and be among the best like Dennis, oshimen, awoniyi, Ndidi even Onyeka etc

Taking players from NPFL barely favour us in the long run though many will mention etebo and Sunday odey but this guys are barely cutting it in advanced leagues

Ogbeni Dennis just joined this season na!

What is it and this your KC agenda? How many people have been hyping him of late?

Please also reduce this your selective posts that only show up when a player is going through a bad patch but disappear when said player is doing well.

Your creating a narrative from your own imagination.

I've been giving KC constructive criticism for year's same goes for Awoniyi who I've seen several times and I am only now talking about Dennis because in the HERE and NOW he is performing excellently.

Furthermore, he's come in with low expectations nothing great was expected from him. But he has exceeded all EXPECTATIONS.

Compare him to the " Waste Man" hyped to the high heavens and could not even get into first gear at Watford.

Epl Epl!!!

Since the last 8weeks. Is my angle this hard to grab.

Since both arrived at EPL, Onyeka has gotten more mentions on this thread than Dennis! I brought in Onyeka because someone was saying he just arrived Epl.

He doesn't need be spoken of like Osimhen(almost everyone here, numbering about 90% of us, mention osimhen).

Since its performance based, then he's not been talk about. And that's is why i inserted that Adeyemi is even mentioned more on this thread than Dennis is, since season began.

If you don't gerrit, let's forget about it.
