Good evening everyone.

So an accident happened to me today, i slipped and hit my head very hard on a wall(head on; like nodding a ball). It could have been very serious, but luckily my full afro hair saved me.

Though I'm feeling a slight pain there, I can't feel any swelling or see through my hair because it's very long and thick


But when i run water through my hair, I feel this tingling sensation like a bruise on the area of impact

So I'll like to know if by any chance it's possible to damage the follicles on that area through such impact

No cause for alarm...jus damaged some nerve endings..I'll advise advise you shave off ur hair to a low cut,reason is the nerve ending will need lots of aeration to heal and free from hair gels or dirt

Thanks for the advice. But low cut is not an option for me. I'm talking about an abnormally full hair. Years of progress. Main reason I'm bothered

Keeping it you run a risk of losing that patch of hair to abnormal growth...it might not be a severe damage sha...observe it in the coming days,if the tingling lasts over 6 days then u have to follow my simple advise
