If they like they should shift the draw to February, the Super Eagles will not be out of the top five. Morocco and Algeria are within our reach than we are to the Egyptian's reach! Facts!
Morocco is 2nd and Algeria 4th respectively

What about Portugal that needed just a draw on the last day but lost at home to Serbia? If Serbia could beat Portugal at their own backward, then Italy can eliminate them and in the world of football Italy is a bigger nation than Portugal...so FIFA or referee won't be favoring Portugal and Ronaldo in this tie

So one of Portugal or Italy will miss the World Cup

I am praying for pendu to make it

It will not be nice to have a World Cup without pendu scoring those headers or tapin grin

That will be determined by pre AFCON friendlies then..

But, why am I having this funny feeling that the decision to shift the draw might have to do with the Ghana vs SA match? grin .. Perhaps CAF and FIFA want to order a replay cheesy

Ghana vs SA rematch does not affect the draws, all they need to put there is Ghana/ SA.

This is just another ploy by the North Africans to rob west Africa again.

Remember we have 3 North African teams in the top five, Egypt is only trying so desperately to avoid playing a north African side.

Having 4 African side in the top 5 will enhance their chances of making it to the world cup.

Keep quiet , for a minute, nwokem. You have neither integrity nor shame. You and your company insulted and dragged me for calling for Rohr's sack , way before you could open your eyes to see the failure before you.

At every turn you started talking America as if its a paradise where nothing goes wrong , this is typical of an unexposed and shallow minded individual. Now , take this from a hommie who have lived in this country for over a decade , and also played a role in decision making by voting. America presents you with a lot of opportunities , but all is NOT well with the country but I will stop here , because the country has many dark secrets.

The point I am trying to make is that these foreigners we convert to wear GWG has absolutely nothing to offer that we dont already have.

Whats so special about Aribo , Ekong , Balogun , Aina , Ajayi , Iwobi etc. Most if not all are below average.

A centre back pairing of Akpoguma and Bassey is not bad with zaidu/collins/aina and Awaziem/ Ebuehi on the left/right back positions. Balogun/ Ekong as back up.

What are the basic requisites for the wing forward role

A wing forward or an outside forward is a forward occupying the wide areas in a front three attacking caste notable in a 4-3-3 tactical setups.

The skillsets needed for the wing forward role should include the following:

Pace: This is the rate of movement. The ability to cover more grounds in a given time.
The more in pace a player has, the better the player for the wing forward role. A good pace is also important for high pressing football.

Finishing: This means to complete the attack by scoring.

Dribbling:: This is the ability to control the ball past an opponent without being intercepted.

Passing skills: Through passing, cutback passing and linkup play are arguably the most emphasized for wing forward plays especially for teams that thrive on positional play.

Does Victor Moses have more pace, finishing, dribbling skills, and the highlighted passing skills in the writ above than our current wing forwards especially Chidera Ejuke and Samuel Chukwueze?

The simple answer is No.

If you have any view(s) contrapuntal, please say it now, let's look into it, otherwise let any lips coming here to say that Victor Moses is better than our current wing forwards be stoppered..

Let's allow honest assessment and facts sans sentiments gain preeminence on this thread.

My brother we may be out of the top five if we don't beat Egypt at Afcon and top our group.

This what consistently drawing the likes of Cape Verde and Sierra Leone and losing to CAR has done to our rankings.

Well... I'd read that Ghana and DR Congo qualification for the playoff is under review for the time being..

That being said, I don't mind if the North Africans are trying to manipulate the draw in their favour..
They have never performed any better than West Africa at the world stage... The West African Bloc has to show that they are better...
It's a shame we won't be having Ivory Coast to support us.. But no wahala...we have Mali grin

I know! But there is no way we will lose to Egypt! Egypt needs the point more than we do. Algeria and Tunisia are within our reach too! The AFCON will separate the boys from the men. There will be time for full in-house training! The Super Eagles is more than capable with or without Osi. Desser, Awo, Okereke, Moffi, Dennis, and Paul are capable!

So if you're the NFF president you will sack a coach of a national team with few weeks to a major competition. A competition we are aspiring to win, there is no wisdom in that.

Rest this point. It is a matter of simple logic that as the number of diasporean Nigerians grows we will harness what our people abroad have to offer. For example, apart from sports do you know how much diasporean remittances amounted to last year? Billions. Is that not a form of leveraging on foreignness?

We have, we have, please name the local players we have.

I agree that Ekong and Balogun are not at their best at the moment but there's an unmistaken aversion you have for FB which is nothing but a carry over of your anti white sentiments.

Oyibo bad but na dem land you dey. How ironic. Come back naija na since you have very strong prejudices in favor of anything local.

We should leave the space free: FB are Nigerians, home boys are Nigerians. Let quality be the decider not prejudice for or against a category of players based on where they are born.

Tell yourself the truth, with Rohr in charge that aspirations is like a wild goose chase.....Not achievable not in the foreseeable future with the way we play. That aspiration is too much for Rohr.

Its best he goes lets use the AFCON as a dress rehearsal with nothing at stake. If we win, no wahala if we don't we pick ourselves up and plan for the wcq in March.

Algeria sacked their coach with a game at hand and won the AFCON with a new manager with new philosophy. Rohrs tactics is easily neutralized by good teams even average team neutralizes it cos he invites carpenters over quality players.

Rohr just has to go. There's no aspiration or expectation from Nigeria going into the AFCON, let them do them. The players are there very good one at that but the coaches ineptitude and cluelessness is what is killing the team (playing the boys below their strength)
