...sad much, our ladies have to go thru this...I believe, they will have no choice than to balance up the debt, when it is time for camp for the world cup qualifiers...In fact, that will be the time our ladies have the most leverage to hold them to ransom....since our leaders want to be mad, let us all be mad. The only fear i have is that, we should not be distracted due to this. Its well. I STAND.

Those leading these ministries aren't our leaders

NIGERIANS didn't elect them

These are just the average criminals we have all over Nigeria

Any small position given to them is misused!

Besides not only humans can be cursed,

Infact,

A curse is any expressed wish that some form of adversity or misfortune will befall or attach to one or more persons, a place, or an object..

So you think Nigeria is Nigeria because of its name and not because of those inside?

You keep cursing where you live and earn your living, yet you want such land to yield good fruits for you?

How you do plant yam and expect to reap cocoyam?

Think this through, life gives you what you give her.

The team isn't good quite frankly. Now I understand why Coach brown dropped most of them.

Jordan Ogundiran is playing very well though. Just sad the team is uninspiring

What's so funny dumbo?

Nigeria has long teetered on the precipice of failure. Like a partially failed state, But now, this shit government is unable to keep its citizens safe and secure.

Nigeria's lists of problems is enormous!!

It lacks security, is unsafe, has weak rules of law, is corrupt, limits political participation and voice, discriminates within its borders against various classes and kinds of citizens, etc,.
Nigeria has become a fully failed state of critical geopolitical concern. Its failure matters because the peace and prosperity of Africa and preventing the spread of disorder and militancy around the globe depend on a stronger Nigeria.

Remember, Nigeria played a positive role in promoting African peace and security. With state failure, it can no longer sustain that vocation, and no replacement is in sight. Our security challenges are already destabilizing the West African region in the face of resurgent jihadism, making the battles of the Sahel that much more difficult to contain. And spillover from Nigeria’s failures ultimately affect the security of Europe and the United States..

It has nothing to do with patriotism
it's reality and law of nature that I am talking about.

You don't curse where you live or earn your living, it will surely return what you give it.

Nature is a mirror that gives you what you give it.

I wonder what a country that does not respect or honour their heroes feel under the belly. I remember how much sacrifice thus guy and the gut he showed over the years to bring the nbbf and Nigeria basket ball to the limelight it enjoys today. How he captained and played thru injury to win for Nigeria her first ring in Afrobasket in a continent dominated and cornered by the Angola and the Senegal. He captained us to the first ever back to back final in Afrobasket only to lose to the host in Final, the Tunisia, due to lack of representations as we string together a new set of team to the event. This singular feat announced to the continent the arrival of a new king, a power house in BB and this singular act was sparely executed with the leadership maestro of IK Diogu and his ever relevant vice (his name not on my mind now). Not relenting, this crop of guys who are always available qualified us to both Olympic without scratches only for the incompetent people in nbbf to allow Mike Brown of GSW to drop them for the unloyal NBA stars that disgrace us at the Olympics and turn down invitations to rep us at the last afrobasket. Now that we are down, we have no choice than to run back to ik Diogu. What a shame.

Just to clarify.... The NBA players didn't reject the chance to rep is at the Afrobasket... The NBA bad a rule that state that it's players can't represent their countries in two international tournament within a year...
Covid-19 caused the Olympics and Afrobasket to clash together, otherwise we could have had our best players for that Afrobasket.

While I understand the spirit of your post, some of the things said aren't exactly correct. It's true IK Diogu has sacrificed immensely (and still does) for the country, he is more or less a pathfinder and trail blazer. Many of those playing for Nigeria today probably wouldn't have but for his contribution to the game in Nigeria. It doesn't necessarily mean the crop of guys playing in the NBA aren't patriotic, neither does it mean coach brown was wrong to drop him off the roaster from a professional stand point. If there's one thing Nigerian's have clamored for over the years, it's to have a system with no respect for persons, that's due to the fact most of us have lost opportunities we legitimately merit either to quota system or who know who. Coach Brown chose the team simply based on merit (Judging by the games I've watched so far I'll have done same).

However, there's also another side to this, special considerations are always given to players who have played their dues in any system especially when they are near retirement. Sue Bird for instance made the US women roster even though there are younger players who could have taken her spot. Aisha Mohammed did same for the D'Tigress even though in my opinion she had no reason to be on the team. It was simply recognizing their contribution to the game and ensuring the leave on a high note. Same should have applied to IK Diogu, sadly it didn't
