My colleague called me dis evening dat she has bin having issues with her neighbours at home and want 2 come and stay with me for three days,i just replied"tomorrow naw",she said ok dat she wil look 4 where 2 sleep dis night.my issue is that.(1)shes older dan me and can b very bossy (2) when she stayed at my place d previous month,we had an agreement 4 her to stay with my kids 4 seven days,while i travel to bauchi state.i made provision 4 food and money.i travelled.two days later she called 2 tell me dat d head of my gas had issues,i told her to change it dat when i come,i would pay her back.she said she wants 2 buy kerosene stove,i told her no dat am alergic 2 d smell of stove.she said dat if i dont approve her 2 buy stove,she would go and dump my kids with my baby daddy.i approved her buyin d stove.d next day she said dat d tiles in my room is causin cold 4 her dat she wants 2 visit her lover,she later dumped my kids with a parent 4rm my sch.(3)i begged her fifty naira 2day 2 add 2 my transport fare.

BJ.....you have enough of your own personal wahala and do not need additional wahala biko. If aunty had caused you previous headache when she stayed over, it's fine to remain resolute with your decision. That's what grownups do.....they make sensible decision and stick by it. Dont get emotionally manipulated into giving in....she can stay with her lover tonight while you discuss the arrangement tomorrow. Cheers Maami.

She had 2k o which i helped her collect 4rm a stubborn parent,she refused helpin me.(4) when i lived in my classroom with my kids for three months,she didnt even offer me help like allowing d kids come and stay in d apartment where she lives alone,instead when i beg her 2 stay with me 2 keep me company due 2 lonlines,she gives me condition dat i must give her food.(4) shes stingy,i dont want her to come and finish d food am managing with my kids(5) she cant even properly flush toilet after use,she complains about fetchin water(5)wen we were both lookin 4 apartment,i told her dat we should join our monies to rent a room and live as roomates,she said she needs privacy......so i was thinkin dat what if i give her d keys 2 d sch.2 sleep there,or how do i tell her dat i cant accomodate her without hurting her?

If you don't learn how to say NO you will have a very miserable life. All successful people learnt to say NO. You should not even open a thread about this. It's just common sense and I believe you have one. Haba.

I use to have this challenge too, I hate to say NO to anyone even though the decision will be to my own detriment.. It's not easy but your decision is final especially as she stressed you the last time..

What make her to have problem with her neighbour? Let her not come and created another problem for you with your own neighbour. If she her self is not ready to solve her own problem but want to run. All these fairweather abokis.
