Nairaland is one of the major social platform in Nigeria used to promote hatred amongst tribes. Whether it is intentional/political or Nairaland does not have the power to control it, I can’t tell.. But the hatred brewed here is enough to tear a nation apart..

It is so irritating and heartbreaking. I hope Seun realises this too.

There's nothing that happens here that is not on the streets of in country.
I believe you created this thread solely because of the banters, opinions and arguments that happens in the politics section..... it's normal for people to disagree on issues, counter others while airing opinions.

Afonja. Biafra. Skull miners. Brown roof. Potopoto Republic. Baby factory accusations. Yoruba muslim slave... etc
A lot of threads get derailed from the OPs message when people start stoking ethnic divides.

There is no "one whole or five whole posts that can tear a nation apart", but there are many little tiny nuances and ethnic-hate-filled comments here and there that sow discord that grow in people over time and they act it out.

Many times, I draw an inference from Rwanda Hutsi Tutsie genocide. We all know the role media (radio) played in that incident. Nairaland is a broadcast media or communication platform across Nigeria and across every age group.

Nairaland and Seun have more followers and reach today than the radio station had.

I spoke about this before now and the comment I got was that Seun hate the Igbos. Take time to check comments and see for yourself. There are a whole lot of them.

Some comments and Ops, when reported, Mynd4 will not check to delete. Most people in this forum know his stand.


This forum is a place where certain individual use ethnicity to divide and create hate among Nigerians.

Oga Seun, its stated clearly that nairaland is against secession. So ensure that the mods handling thie critical section agree to that and do not sympathise with those with secession ideology.

To ensure that the security and integrity of your platform remains intact.

Because some boast of aligning with mods for backend access. But we are waiting for them at the end of the tunnel.

You categorically wrote that nairaland forbid secessionists but half of posts in the politics section tilt toward secession. Most of these secessionists have different monikers to perpetrate their acts. Nairaland is losing its relevance on a daily basis.

You need to start banning all secessionists on this beautiful forum. They are enemy of the state and of this great forum. They are leveraging on nairaland to spread their hates to the rest of the country. Some even dared you that you can't stop them. They bully anyone that corrects them.
