Absolutely wrong, my wife did same without leaving the UK, and got her visa swiftly.

Sorry for the unintended misinformation then.

That’s so cool. Unbelievably but since I initiated the payment, my dad hasn’t been debited. It’s been two weeks and I was promised today. I’m so so worried.

Mikool101:

Hello. Yes o. It took less than a week for them to send you a cas check email after sending the telex, which you will have to respond to on time by going through your details "carefully" and indicating if there are mistakes that needs to be corrected or not.
3 days after I responded to the cas check email , my portal was updated with my unconditional and CAS letter available.

I love your admission. My brother also did like 2 other Masters while in UK after doing Public Health.

I had a refusal once and they gave me admission. The school has no business with your immigration history. That is the Home offices' job.

Not quite true.
A university can ask about immigration history and refuse a candidate admission if it believes that their immigration history is likely to result in their being rejected for a student visa by the Home Office. One has to scale the admission hurdle before going to face the Home Office. That is why some universities conduct interviews and ask for previous immigration history and rejection letters.

Remember that the university is the one that sponsors foreign students, so they don't want to waste their slots by giving admission to people who might not eventually arrive to take it up.

Good Afternoon bosses in the house, my wife got admission with her maiden name all through even with her passport, applying for a dependent visa, is an affidavit and newspaper change of name needed for the visa application?
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 6 by Ugool: 1:39pm On Dec 01, 2021
I used my maiden name. I only provided marriage certificates, pictures showing proof of marriage with chats. No affidavit or newspaper publication added

Hmm, that Makes sense. I just don't think that anyone should be deterred from applying to a school just because you have been refused a visa before though.

Wow! Do you mean I should avoid University of Sunderland if I have any visa refusal from any country before? I am actually doing a pre-registration program there and only 4 schools do that in the UK of which their own tuition fees is the cheapest

No.
Apply to as many universities as you can.
Each university has its own requirements.
Some will ask for your immigration history, some will not.
Some can still give you admission after assessing whatever your immigration history is, some might not.
It's all university- and case-dependent.

Good day everyone,
Please is there any one here awaiting CAS from Aston university? Or is there anyone that just got theirs? How long did it take?

My CAS shield tracker is still on 50% after 4 days. And I was told normally the CAS takes just 3 days.

why are you doing a second master? Is there no jobs or prospect in the UK In Msc international business? Your reply will help guide other to know what to expect.

Generic courses such as MSc International Business confer no advantage whatsoever. One will still compete with everyone else in the job market, after adjustment for racism, one's previous career and experience, etc.

Nurses, on the other hand, after completing their course and satisfying registration requirements, have an almost-guaranteed job for life not only in the UK, but also in other developed countries.

No idea. I don't work in that industry, and while the general word on the street is that "IT professionals" are in demand, people in the industry are better placed to state which specific roles and - more to the point, what experience and which qualifications - are more likely to secure employment than others.

That's for you to find out.

There are jobs just that sometimes these jobs depends on your experiences in the field. These industries don't depend on certificates but what you can do for the company.

Just understand your field and know what they want from a candidate.

Hello, please I have a few questions as regards applying to ulster. Please assist me
FrankFrenzy:

Good morning beautiful people, and happy weekend to us all.
Please I need an honest and unbiased advise, I have a few unconditional offers for this January, but prominent among them is Ulster University Belfast and Northumbria University.. I’m also expecting an offer by next week from BCU, now my concern is I’m scheduled for TB test on Monday, pls I need an advise on which school to use on the certificate. Ulster I’m in Belfast Northern Ireland while Northumbria is in Newcastle. Any one who knows about either or both cities should pls advise a brother so I don’t make mistakes or wrong choices.
Note. Ulster is £1000 cheaper than Northumbria, Northumbria is rated top 25 in the uk while Ulster is top 45, but the latter is in Northern Ireland.
@Justwise other experts in the house, kindly advise pls

Just asking out or curiousity and to be on the safe side.

So I applied on the 23rd of November (dependant visa) , scheduled for biometrics on monday. The POF I printed matured on the same 23rd of November but the last date on the statement is 24th of November (meaning I printed 29days), is this okay?

1. No difference. Cost of living varies by city. Edinburgh for instance, has more expensive housing than many cities in England.
2. a) Again, no difference, and b) you won't know until you try.
3. 20 hours weekly, in the general part-time jobs students do (earning, with variations, an average of 10 pounds an hour) will generally not fetch one enough to pay up tuition balances, after the cost of your own upkeep.
4. A dependant can work and earn an income, yes. A dependant also has to be provided for in terms of maintenance funds at the point of visa application, plus transporting them to the UK and maintaining them while they also seek employment, so factor all that into your planning.
