I did biometrics since 9th(standard) no visa yet. You are correct, it seems they just abandon the standard applications and face priority. If I could upgrade, I would have done that

My collegue got an unconditional offer in DMU and have paid their 4,000 GBP compulsory pymt. Now she got a mail for online pre registration for course of study (though their site states you must pay 50% of tuition by January 31st) that requires her to indicate her UK address n UK phone number. Even if she has an address to fill, she doesn't have a phone number.
Please who can advice us on what to do.

1. No difference. Cost of living varies by city. Edinburgh for instance, has more expensive housing than many cities in England.
2. a) Again, no difference, and b) you won't know until you try.
3. 20 hours weekly, in the general part-time jobs students do (earning, with variations, an average of 10 pounds an hour) will generally not fetch one enough to pay up tuition balances, after the cost of your own upkeep.
4. A dependant can work and earn an income, yes. A dependant also has to be provided for in terms of maintenance funds at the point of visa application, plus transporting them to the UK and maintaining them while they also seek employment, so factor all that into your planning.

Why I’m contemplating on going with a dependant is just because of the tuition which I feel will be paid with ease if one of us is working full time… but considering the resources on ground, it’s not viable

Please since I’m sponsoring myself, can I get a way around it so I can be able to work more hours in order to cater for the balance and others…

That is almost one month. Was it priority? I think you can go ahead to pick up your passport.

My school received payment through flywire already and flywire sent me a receipt, but bank has not sent me Telex. I want to send flywire receipt and form A copy to school as payment evidence so they can start the CAS issuance process.
will this work?
i will still go to the bank to request Telex regardless.

did it stay on “transferred to VAC” before getting to “received by VAC” or it just updated both at the same time? Cc demotintin

his passport is not with TLS yet, he has to wait till the tracker shows “received by VAC”

That’s so cool. Unbelievably but since I initiated the payment, my dad hasn’t been debited. It’s been two weeks and I was promised today. I’m so so worried.

Wow. Which bank did you use? I transferred my initial deposit from my salary account to UBA. Thank God for this thread. I was debited 3 days, got my telex 2days later.

I used my maiden name. I only provided marriage certificates, pictures showing proof of marriage with chats. No affidavit or newspaper publication added

Please I early printed my account statement on the 25th. I printed from 26th October to 25th nov. BUt like i have read here that people should do their addition and subtraction to ensure the closing balance is correct. Based on that i noticed the plus and minus is short by the bank charges at the point of printing the statement. please, can i print the statement now from 25th October to 24th november today?

I don't really know much about bank statement. During my time I submitted 3months bank statement. All I know is that it's better to submit 30days bank statement instead of 28days.

I suggest you go through calling them on Skype, +442038754669 you’ll get your answer faster even though the CS doesn’t really Have so much info but call anyways

So I applied on the 23rd of November (dependant visa) , scheduled for biometrics on monday. The POF I printed matured on the same 23rd of November but the last date on the statement is 24th of November (meaning I printed 29days), is this okay?

Is ur biometrics still displayed red before u got the collection mail and did u get a decision mail prior to collection

Did a paid email 13 Nov. and Escalated 16th.Got decision mail 25th November. Did with family Standard and they got their own visa 3rd November.
