Something is telling me Argentina will win the world cup next year.

I have been having this feeling since they won the Copa America.

Pedri was a CAM/LMF at Las Palmas but at Barca and Spain he's played mostly as a CM on the left of a Midfield 3. Just like his mentor Iniesta. Truth is there's no position like AM at Barca even at Madrid that's why players like Isco, Coutinho and to some extent Asensio are struggling. Either you play as one of the interiors in a midfield 3 or you play as one of the forwards in a front 3.

Pedri was an AM but he's currently operating as a CM for FCB and ESP. I think Firstbornwds is right on Pedri.

Bruno is a pure AM/SS. playing behind the main striker at Sampdoria, Sporting CP, Manutd and Portugal. He's played only four times or there about on the left in a midfield 3.

KDB; I won't say KDB is a CAM even though transfermarket suggest so.

Under Pellegrini at City, he played behind the main striker almost as a SS and also on the left as a left Forward. Same position at Wolfsburg and Chelsea.

But Pep has played KDB as a CM mostly on the left or right in a midfield 3 and also recently because of the form of B.Silva, Kundogan and Rodri, he's also been played as a False 9.

At Beligium, he's been played as one of the AM on the right hand side in Roberto Martinez' 3-4-3 system with Hazard on the left.

Based on average position/eye test of watching KDB, I'll say everything points him out as a CM. Of course I'm ignoring transfermarket here.

if you call him CM, you're correct. if you call him AM I think you're somewhat correct too. My opinion is that he's a midfielder either AM or CM who can play as a forward if need be.

But for arguments sake, TransferMarket, the most reputable source for player's average position, value, stats suggest he's an attacking midfielder(AM) So I think they are right even though they are wrong based on eye test!!!

Eye test also sees Pedri as a CAM even at Spain and Barca

I won't give it to Mendy ahead of Donarruma. Mendy may have had an overall better season with a rejuvenated Chelsea but Euros performance by Donarrouma stood out for me.
