there is no rivalry between messi and ronaldo. even if there were, it only starts and ends on the field of play. after that, both guys go home to wait for alert and have a nice time with their families. unfortunately, a few people who the children of ronaldo and messi can feed for d rest of their lives, usually take it upon themselves to have hypertension over messi and ronaldo. messi and ronaldo have a warm mutual respect for themselves and are flexing everyday, making huge sums of dollars, pounds and euros as the case maybe. but d so called fans are fighting themselves on empty stomach. they dont even have access to d crumbs. its such a pity

He doesn't realize that it is the people he is playing to entertain that will judge based on his achievements, ofcourse.

Messi is very humble. Judging from stats and in my book, he deserves the ballon dor. Ronaldo always feels entitled, and very soon his light would be put to sleep, at least sooner than Messi’s. At his age, Ronaldo can kiss Messi’s foot because Messi has widened the gap and Roro can never catch up with him again, at least, not this world.

Such award should be given best on performance n achievements, not humbleness. I like Messi for his humbleness n possession of a simple spirit but let's say the truth, 2 of his ballon don awards were not deserving.
