I can vouch for TZ in that sector, but for Ghana slumbolish? Nope. Ghana has nothing to attract tourists, unless you're talking about the hobbits. -It can be so interesting for a white to see a special human on the planet. cool
it doesn't take away the fact
grin grin

Your revenue will remain a division of that of Ghana...

Slum tourism doesn't pay

Kenya's educational system really did you guys bad. It's very funny and also sad to always hear Kenyans talk about how other countries have mineral resources and Kenya does not have any?
Are you people alright upstairs? I mean are you normal?

Do we need to always educate you people on the number of mineral resources you have in your country? You guys don't dissappoint at all.

Hahahaaa grin grin... Did you care to research? We don't have anything. Gold? Where? grin

First thing first, tell us what ghana has. .
What is there to see in ghana??

And mind you, your city can be equated as a slum in Kenya. It all boils down to the methodology.

We don't count Kenyans in Diaspora as tourists. Just the same way we count decent places as slums.

What is the Year of Return?
The “Year of Return, Ghana 2019” is a major landmark spiritual and birth-right journey inviting the Global African family, home and abroad, to mark 400 years of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans in Jamestown, Virginia. The arrival of enslaved Africans marked a sordid and sad period, when our kith and kin were forcefully taken away from Africa into years of deprivation, humiliation and torture.

While August 2019 marks 400 years since enslaved Africans arrived in the United States, “The Year of Return, Ghana 2019” celebrates the cumulative resilience of all the victims of the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade who were scattered and displaced through the world in North America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.

It is much easy to cook data, but it is impossible to prove your cooked data by what's in ground. I take SA as example since its near us,and we can easily get feedbacks from them.
Now answer me..
Why your GDP figures shows you have a quarter of SA GDP, but on ground, you don't have a quarter of what SA has?

Tanzania is closer to us, stop hiding behind SA or Hong Kong or Canada dumba$$es.

If only Kibera was this planned like Takoradi that you posted, you guys wouldn't have 70% to 80% of your people living in slums.
Takoradi Concentric planning (Burgess model) best unplanned Nairobi

Go back and answer my simple question
Are you allergic to questions? grin

What has Kenya used all it resources for ?
Why are 80% of Kenyans living in slums?
Why are 51% of houses in Kenya mud houses?
Why is it that only 50% of Kenyans have electricity?

QUESTIONS

How does the Year of Return serve as an answer to the amount of money Ghana made from Tourism in 2019?

Is the Year of Return the only thing that brings tourists to Ghana?

There were many Entertainment programs that took place in Easter, Christmas etc... Even festivals bla bla bla so how do you reconcile the Year of Return with your own argument? I mean how?

Dude, bow your head down in shame cos you just shot yourself in the foot... cool
I don't need an explanation to what The Year of Return means, just stick to the topic.

At the beginning of 2019, the Ghana Tourism Authority predicted the Year of Return would attract 500,000 extra visitors.

Official data from January to September 2019 indicates an additional 237,000 visitors - a rise of 45% compared with the same period the previous year - with significant increases in visitors from the US and UK...
The year of return pushed your numbers over 1million mark. Now you get it grin
