Are you sure the sickness is not seasonal? I have someone that experiences the same symptoms anytime harmattan gets close. He suffers from pneumonia, too.

How long have you been together? You may need to ask him some questions.

Such a good wife. I lost 8m naira about 4 months back had to sell a website of mine to meet up with. I was almost sick with a bp of 60/70 which is alarming for someone with high BP issues.

Make sure you do the right medical checks, and support your husband as much as possible. Men are really trying you women may not agree but we are. Many of us do things they ordinarily won't do just to see you smile, they need things for themselves but look for excuses not to buy those stuff cos they consider you and the kids first.

Please appreciate your man and support him and I know you do hence this post but don't stop.

How can bp be 60/70?

Oga, there is no bp measurement that is 60/70.

My husband has been sick for a month now. The problem started when he lost almost a million naira in a business deal. All of a sudden he lost so much weight, so I attributed it to the depression that he passed through as a result of the loss.

After like 2weeks he recovered the money and since then I noticed that he became sick, he has being coughing for more than 3weeks now, he suffers fatigue, chills, severe chest pain and general body pains. We have gone for test and the result said it's pneumonia. He has taken Drugs but it's till like that. He till coughs and feels fatigue everytime.

The issue now is that am worried and my mind is telling me that he might have covid 19. Please am scared. What should I do at this point.

There are many places in surulere they offer Free covid-19 test. He should check any out.

It won't be a bad idea to go for Covid test.

The people who asked you to have your husband and family get covid tests aren't wrong.

Those are classic symptoms associated with covid, especially that pneumonia.

Why weren't you and your family vaccinated, if you don't mind me asking? Don't listen to all many ill-informed people saying nonsense about the vaccine. Had you all been vaccinated, your husband's symptoms wouldn't have been that severe.

Go for TB test. Your husband may have contracted tuberculosis going by what the signs and symptoms are: consistent cough and weight loss.

On a second note, the symptoms are looking like HIV.....tell him to do an HIV test as well as Tuberculosis.

I see serious problem here.

Your husband's sickness has nothing to do with the money he lost and later recoverd.

I suspect three things and you guys need to do something fast.

1.kidbey problem
2. Heart problem
3. Poison.

May God heal and restore him

I have had it on two occasions now. One it was an emergency and spent a week at UCH in Ibadan.

What you said is exactly what a mother figure of mine outside Nigeria said but since then I have seen a brother from the church have the same thing.

Sh*t happens.

Imagine family of four doing covid 19 test in this kind of smooth economy WHO and government should have make the thing easier for people to do the test by bringing the price down.

Go to another hospital.
Preferably a FMC or teaching hospital.
Be sure to give them the history that he's been treated for pneumonia without improvement

Any US citizen, insured or not, can get some form of COVID 19 test for free. Have never paid a dime for all the COVID-19 tests I have taken for travels.

COVID Test is not free outside of Nigeria please. Don't let anyone deceive you.
