You must have not seen anyone die. If you had, you'd know that when you die we the living will put your dead body inside a box, put the box inside a hole and cover you up with soil where your dead body will be eaten by worms and evolve into the dust of the earth.

And in case you mention a soul. You did not have one till you got a body for it to be in and you won't have one once you die.

I don't know who made the dust, Alex, nor even if a "who" "made" it. I came billions of years after dust first might have come into existence and can barely accurately state what happened yesterday not to talk of so far back.
