The said company is in cotonou and it Is supposed to be a jewelry company.. But when I Google it, it is gold quest international, a gold company in India and quest international in cotonou, an outsourcing company... This is someone I once helped, I really helped in when he was in a financial mess and when table turned, na scam he Wan take repay me.. I didn't curse him, I just let him understand I found out his scam and I am highly disappointed in him cos the thing pain me, he gave me high hopes. It was the grammar that first gave them up

That grammatical error is what I am always watching out for. I thank God for making it possible that most of these Yahoo Guys don't know anything about composing good sentences with Sound English. Once I see bad Grammar, even if it's just one, I automatically know that it is them. |

For those looking to dive into remote work, these rules still apply. Especially that No 10. You can be "offered" a "remote job" where the employer asks you to buy tools needed for the job from a specific vendor. NO LEGIT EMPLOYER will do that |

Of all the 10 points the op list there, I personally think it is no. 10 that's worth taking note of. You see I am both a realist and idealist! The idealist side of me believes in miracle. Yes, miracle do happen! What am I driving at? I believe I can get a job offer that seems too good to be true! The company can ask me to start immediately! It might even be a job I never applied for! The company can contact me via public email address like Gmail or Yahoo mail! But are all these enough to make me shun the offer IF I WAS ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR JOB? Hell no! I might get somehow suspicious but unless they ask me to pay for anything before I get the job or before I receive salary there is no harm in giving it a try especially if the salary is good, working condition is excellent and the job suit my personality and nature and above all, THEY DO NOT ASK ME TO PAY FOR ANYTHING OR PAY SOME MONEY BEFORE I GET THE JOB, why not? I can give it a try. So, to me, that no. 10 is the only key point worth taking note of. Other points could serve as some kind of red flags but they are not enough reason to jettison the offer unless you were not actually looking for job. |
