Is this what ZOOLOGY is all about?

Useless course.as a matter of fact,most courses on Nigerian universities are useless.out of experience.

it's not a useless course my dear. They can actually be the president of the zoo one day. It have happened in the past.

A video making rounds online captures the moment some Zoology students at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, were having a practical class.

They female students were given Snakes to carry by a man believed to be their lecturer, but this left them petrified.

At the beginning of the video, the man could be seen holding a Snake which he tried handing over to a student who was very scared to hold it.

She expressed fear that it may hurt her but the man and another female student encouraged her to do it that it was safe. Interestingly, her classmate stood beside her holding a Snake but she also looked afraid as though she would drop it anytime soon.

In another part of the clip, the man was showing another student how to hold the Snake, after hesitating, she eventually took to her heels.

Very funny. I believe she may have applied for a different course and they offered her zoology as consolation. People rarely opt for zoology as first choice.

It's like a doctor being afraid of blood, that's why I find it funny.

Of course that snake is a python which is quite harmless but don't wrap it round your neck as it can strangle you. That's not the adult size though.

I won't blame them, you give students courses they are not passionate about, what do expect. In more civilized countries people studying these courses have their interest solely on wildlife, conservation and love for animals generally. Over 90% of students in that class intended studying Medicine or pharmacy and you want them to be toying with snakes
