Like mama Omakraid said, let her avoid late evening/night eating or she can take light small meals. This was what i did during my 1st tri when i was usually bloated at night with alot of discomfort. most times i incorporate cabbage in my afternoon meal, cos it helps with bloating and i sleep upright with lots of pillows to support my back and sides if i still ended up bloated at night.

Don't worry that is 1st tri palava, it will soon be over. All the best daddy.

Cappo I'm fine o, I've passed my edd which was Dec 2nd and I feel so heavy already and having contractions. I believe it will end in praise.

Registration fee is about 30k, I think 27,700 during my time and you'd be advised to come with cash to hasten the process.

After registration, you'd be taken to a hall for lectures and your vitals will be checked according to your number. You might be lucky to get scanned on the same day or be told to come back.

Then you go to records with your personal card given to book an appointment according to the date written on the card, and then you go home after a long day

I'd advise you go early if you want to return home on time

Hi sis, I heard about ilera eko in Sept, we subscribed to it in October and we've started accessing the scheme in November.

So far, so good.
We paid 40k for the family slot: husband, wife & 4 kids....to access medical care from either government or private clinic for one year period. This covers delivery fee for me too.

My family members choose a private clinic but I opted for government hospital because they have better hands there. After delivery, I can change my hospital.

You can get further clarification from ilera eko office in any government hospital...just ask for them as I guess they're in all of them.

You can try Vine Branch Hospital. It’s off Elizabeth road. It’s one of the best private hospitals to give birth in in Ibadan. It’s been a while since my nephew was born there and I am not sure about the price.

I am at my mom's place now.
It's just crazy when the one who claims to love you takes you for a fool.
I didn't have a dime on me since Saturday.
I was hungry throughout yesterday till I borrowed money from a neighbour to go to mom's place so I can at least eat.
My kids were hungry. My baby cried ehn. I bought sachet cerelac for her to manage. She stooled like crazy. When I told him that it makes her stool, he said I should continue it, her body will get used to it. I has to ignore and get Nutribom from a shop at our busstop to pay later. This was after he warned me to mind what I say to him.
I don't have a single pin that I can say I bought for myself this year.
Little capital that I was able to gather to sell small stuff this Christmas in my school, I was forced to use it to pay part of my children's school fees after they had been away from school for over 2 weeks.
And he is not bothered.
How many will I write? I am tired of complaining.
I just want to have something doing on the side so I can take care of myself and my kids. So many opportunities for me but thanks to Father Grace. Debts here and there so I can eat.
I'm a teacher.
My head wants to explode.
I need help.

I believed and still believe His word that says "there shall be no barren in the land" I pray that God of impossibilities shall bless you with the fruit of the womb sooner than expected. You shall carry your children in your arms in Jesus might name. I know you must have done this but try and dedicate a day,two or three days for prayer and fasting and wake up in the middle of the night requesting the fruit of the womb. I believe He will do it because He does not fail. Your testimony is permanent sis.

My beautiful and strong waddling mamas, I hope and believe God we are all doing good? MS should be relieving us by now except some "bearable" ones like weakness and tiredness.
I pray as we have started with God Almighty, we shall finish with Him. There shall be no losses(for mothers and babies) among us in Jesus name and people shall celebrate with us.
For FTMs like me, how are we coping? The Lord is our strength but please and please get help from family and friends so we can have enough rest.
Furthermore, I know gender reveal time is still a bit far but if there is anyone who has been able to see Little one's gender can start providing it for compilation.

yes, it was said by doctors n midwives Bcs their is enough water in d breastmilk, and giving water to baby dnt let nutrients to stay in babies system buy mkin dem pee too much n poo too much, practicing this is only entitle to exclusive breatfeeding mothers..... Until e start taking solid, dont give baby water... But sm mamas no follow dis ooo... But i did, lol... My baby didnt even accept water frm me so i kuku didnt bother until i started givin him solid at 7months old.
