Lol, when you know something is beyond your reach.
The reason why an Igbo man can not be president is not because anyone is denying them. It's simply because they don't know how.
Time will tell, igbos don't really need president but Baifra.

What is the problem of Fulani terrorists who go about killing everybody in Nigeria and you Oshobo Muslims in Lagos still vote them as president in Favour of a Christian Southerner who was manageable?
Who did igbos vote for in the last election, An igbo man? Very poor reasoning. All of you still voted for Atiku - A Fulani man and a Muslim and you still come to complain yoruba is voting fulani. Mshew

45 people were burnt alive in Sokoto by bandits and you avoided the story, now you have seen Igbo on FP and all of you have become advocates of building bridges.

Na Only Peter Obi go fit save this country, that man na complete hardcore. He handled insecurity, economy and education very well in Anambra State with several roads linking most villages.

He dealth massob people well well that year when they were kidnapping people and destroyed thier houses and other assets and that's why most people hated him.

Anambra before PeterObi was nothing to write home about but he came and transformed all sectors.

*Ngige try small with substandard roads.

*Rochas na thief.

*Grandpa for Lagos na thief.

*OUK na thief.

*Ekweremadu na chameleon.

*Ambode is good but no longer popular.

*Dwarf pastor na puppet. Nigeria doesn't need a puppet at this critical time.

Kwankwaso,Shekarau are good for vice.

Atiku should forget about it.

Saraki might do well.

This is why I get pissed with the yorubas for always giving these good4nothing people mouth to talk, servants lording it on supposed princes!

I believe your people have a proverb about not knowing where the rain started beating you

One problem you folk have is you hate truth. You lie to yourself without cognitive dissonance . What am I talking about?

In 1960 The Igbo political elite took a decision when we ran a parliamentary system to form a coalition with these same people that you are now abusing. Awolowo was sent to prison and shortly after the same coalition encouraged the breakaway of MIdWestern Nigeria from the Western region. At the same time pretending there were no minority groups in the North or in Eastern Nigeria and the latter two zones were kept intact.
This is politics and the Igbos are entitled to play politics in their best interests but the point is from day 1 The Igbos drew a line in the sand and indicated a political preference for the Hausa and the Fulani over the Yoruba. THAT IS A FACT
It is not a moral issue it is political
How can you then say with a straight face that Yoruba gave them mouth to talk?

YOU are the ones that have ALWAYS done so. The one opportunity there was to build trust in the south this is what your people way saying:
https://www.nairaland.com/745731/yoruba-marginalization-elders-met-jonathan
Again ithe same scenario repeated itself in 1965 and the Igbo politicians in collaboration with the Northern NPC triggered a crisis in the Western region that led to the January 1966 coup.

The rest is Geography

After the war the first election was in 1979. We changed to presidential system. Shagari became president and Ekwueme Vice via their party NPN
Azikiwe did a deal with Shagari and his party the NPP got the Speaker House of Reps post .
The Yoruba were side-lined again there was no accusation, no sense of betrayal or accusations like that. Yoruba took it as POLITICS.
The same scenario played out in 1983 by which time Shagari had pardoned Ojukwu and he returned to join the NPN

Again in 1993 The Igbos did not vote Abiola
and
In 1999 the Igbos chose the Northern imposed Obasanjo over the preferred Yoruba choice in Falae

Two things

1. Are these facts in dispute
2. What would the Igbos be saying today if roles were reversed

Try and learn to be honest and deal with reality.

Throughout our political history have the Igbos treated the Yoruba in a way to justify any sense of entitlement?

If its by track record, neigther igbo or tinubu have nothing to offer nigeria.
but for equity i think we hav to give the lesser evil the igbo.
a problem for apc is that ahmed tinubu is a known veriable and many will still choose buhari or atiku over tinubu.
apc need to give to igbo because the joke pdp may pick a northerner. Well am not sure thats possible though.

Igbos have never been my problem, I have more important issues to handle. When you want votes from people, you don't go about disrespecting them. It is either igbos insult hausas and other Nigerians and forget about the presidency or continue kneeling down like Eziefe while canvassing for votes. Only only an idiot will expect a person he loves to deride to vote for him. Don't be an idiot! Period!

I have a feeling that a good Igbo president will fix this country's problems but nepotism won't allow that to happen so it's to your tent oh Israel.

A good president from any of the zones can't fix Nigeria's problems alone. The structure of the country needs to be revamped, it will be difficult for any well meaning president to succeed with the current political culture.
It takes much more than one person to make things work.
Just take a good look at your local government, what impact has it had on the people despite it being the closest tier of the government.
Governance is far from the populace, we recycle the same set of individual because of that useless thing called 1999 constitution.

This is exactly how it should be.

Nigeria as a whole should be begging Igbos to provide an intellectual (not Rochas and OUK) who will try and at least undo the economic havoc Saint Buhari hoisted on them in the past 7 years but no, they are too proud.

It will further give Nigerians a tangible excuse to give when Igbos demand Biafra or complain of the running marginalization.

I said, same way Nigeria always beg Igbos for unity is how they should be begging for Igbo presidency only more aggressively. If they were not selfish and wicked people whose only interest is to see Igbos suffer with them in the gaping monster shithole created by Lugard followed by Fulani and Yoruba presidents.

Thank God they're not listening sef. It would be a disadvantage to Igbos in our agitation for our separate peaceful, fair and organic country which is already written. He who the gods want to kill, they will make mad and block his ears first.

SAY NO TO IGBO PRESIDENCY. We DON'T WANT. WE WANT BIAFRA. They should go and beg Thiefnubui to become president of Nigeria or even make Booboo life president. cheesy

Rotation has been it for emergence of president of Nigeria since return to democracy in 1999 after the skewed and lopsided political structure of Nigeria created by northern military dictators to favor only the old northern region of Nigeria.
Every northerner or southwestener knows it’s the turn of the Igbo to present a successor to PMB.

Who expects the Igbos to kneel down and beg for what the Igbo merits?
