I have shown up at the police station and we were asked to go and resolve...I sent my delivery man witha technican and they confirmed the same issue so we estimated 25k for repairs and initially was to pay 15k ot of the 25k...that same day had 12k in my account and I forwarded 10k to him waiting to receive funds so I can balance up the next day and in 10mins he reverted the 10k to me...

He notified me he was coming to the station on Tuesday and I said no problem I would clear my activities for the day to present and moments later he said it will be Wednesday and I communicated that I wouldn't be available that we should reschedule but he said he would do what he would do

I think you should try and investigate what the issue with the fridge is. I have bought a fridge from someone here before not knowing that the fridge cannot work without a stabiliser. It was until I got a stabiliser before I started enjoying the fridge. Sometimes some of this thing may not be a serious issue, if we can drop our ego and find out what the real issue with the fridge is.

There are three sides to every story. Your side, their side and the truth.

If you’re sure you’re closer to the truth, then go to an area command. If you’re at a divisional police station, you’re wasting your time. If you have the resources to involve the military, do it. Nigeria is a lawless place and you shouldn’t feel bad about it since you’re trying to be safe and not bully anyone.

There are two ways to convince someone, there’s reason and then there’s persuasion. If a person is being unreasonable (as most Nigerians are) then don’t feel guilty persuading them.

Most people on here are picking on your methods and your words but nobody is offering a solution. I have been in your position before and know how it feels like. Do what you have to do.
