At the meeting of Elders of the Muslim Community with the mgt of OAUTHC, Director of Nursing Education and all principals of School of Nursing/Midwifery/Perioperative Nursing, the Use of Hijab was unanimously approved.

The Management set up a five-man committee headed by Imam, OAUTHC to work out the modalities of acceptable colours, types and limitations. Matron Salawu is amongst the selected committee members.

The Islamic Affairs Committee and the Executive of the Muslim community OAUTHC want to express our profound gratitude to all our fathers and mothers that played important role in the struggle towards the acceptance of Hijab in OAUTHC.
