Traveling To Ivory Coast. I Need Help by purpulrain: 7:08pm On Dec 13, 2021
Hello landers,
I am looking at traveling to ivory coast this month and I want to know the things I have to look out for like :
Feeding expenses
Employment rate
House rent
Communities relationship with foreigners
I don't have much for now so I would like to make sure what I have would be enough at least for the first 2months.

Are you sinking here in Nigeria? Anything that can keep you "afloat" in another African Country can put in the average class here in Nigeria.
I've not been there but I don't think there's much diff. between 9ja and Ivory coast.

If you can, save up and leave Africa

I don't have the information you need, but I'm curious, why is Nigeria not good enough? Nigeria has almost 10x more population which means more potential to earn money, if you don't speak French then you may have to learn which adds another layer of difficulty to doing business, both countries have about the same per capita income, Nigeria is very diverse in terms of culture, religion, language etc

So what exactly is more attractive about Ivory Coast aka Côte d'Ivoire?

Don't listen to these people up there talking trash. That's how they go from thread to thread trying to discourage potential travellers. .
You are a skilled personnel for crying out loud. U are on the right track because over there, there is security.. faster internet .. cheap food. Stable power supply.
As a graphic designer with remote jobs, all u need is a nice accommodation.. so long as u have enough money to keep u afloat for a start in Ivory coast.. my brother japa abeg..
Who knows?? it could be a stepping stone towards migrating to other countries.??

To all you bad Belle people, stay in your Nigeria, make Nigeria better, develop Nigeria.. but don't trap anyone!!

Bye bye.

To me, traveling to Ivory coast could be likened to traveling from Lagos to P.H, no difference!

If you want to leave Nigeria, why not go to places that are significantly better?

Have you also considered language barrier?

It actually sounds ridiculous to me when people make such moves except it's for a particular lucrative business.

Some people just love change of environment and this is not a crime.

Feeding is cheap if you can eat their food which isn't bad.
Housing is a little expensive since is monthly.
For employment, they have better employment rate but you need to be atleast fluent in french
