mostob:you are making enough sense according to you. Zidane is a bigger coach to Gerrard and Arteta, he can select which ever club he wants, all top coaches does that. He has nothing to prove to you or anyone |

mostob:Did Zidane said those words to you or anyone. Who's talking spending big. Madrid was a ready made team but the previous coaches couldn't win a champions league with that same ready made team. Zidane is one of the most successful managers. First manager to win the champions league thrice in a row. Even ferguson, wenger, guardiola, etc can't beat that. Put some respect to that name |

Oasis001:To take such a view as the bolded is too simplistic. If we complained that Rohr should be removed, does that mean we should get what is not an upgrade? |

Odunayaw: How can you quote this and still miss the point. I am interested in his philosophy. Not CV. Playing or training under a coach that plays the philosophy he aligns to. The key point is not the coach but history of a system. The point is so clear. |

Odunayaw: I repeatedly told people I want Barcelona to sack Rijkaard in favor of a rookie coach Guardiola who was coaching the Barcelona B team. People then used to tell me, "How can you even say such a thing?" Why? Rijkaard had a nice CV but I preferred Guardiola because of his philosophy. So I don't want to hear about how many courses a coach has done. I want to know how he views the game and what are his ideas of the game. That is what I use to judge my coaches. Not courses and camps. |

zicky: The team was a disaster under Benitez before Zidane took over. Names don't make the difference but how you use them. It is more than luck or fluke to do what Zidane did. Just that I feel whatever team he goes to, he must prioritize a fantastic hitman. Apart from that, Zidane is brilliant and did a marvelous job. |
