Kenya wanted to do 1,000mw plant using south africa coal - it got into serious environmental headwinds. Nobody touching anything with coal or dirty fuel anytime soon.

There are parameters for comparing two entities.

In one comment, you claim to agree with the claims that Joberg is ahead of Nai but in the same comment you don't agree that's hilarious. Dude be real.

Joburg is ahead of Nairobi, No one disputed that.

South Africans can say what they want cos they are ahead. Comparing Nairobi to them is a no-brainer Joburg will triumph.

When it comes to other African nations like Accra or Lagos, the comparison will be demeaning to Nairobi. Watch any video and screenshot comments here. You'll realize that, in Sub Sahara Africa, only south Africa can have a say on kenya as far as cities are concerned.
