What knocks out Lagos is the lack of zoning laws, and of course electricity. Lagos is big but their filthy shacks and cheap residential which have integrated with their CBD is what is making Lagos a zoo not fit for comparison.

That is a proper place for an interchange unless you are struggling with the colonial mentality whereby only a small area deserves infrastructure hence why the zoo Kenya can't spread it infrastructure to cover all

Other than desert sprawl and pyramids, there is nothing special in Cairo. Casablanca and Algiers are however in a different class. My point is opinions whether subjective cannot refute facts. Accra is a great city but its nowhere near Nairobi and that is a fact, not an opinion.
