I don't consider myself as an atheist and I don't mean to disrespect or cause chaos here, just a honest question. Okay.

So I've seen a recent post that leads to some debate and exchange of words between those that believe in God (both Christian and Muslims uniting together) and those who claim to be atheist
So the question is, Which "God" will you tell an atheist that decides to believe in the existence of "God" to follow?
Is it JESUS, ALLAH, OGUN...

If the atheist chooses islam, Should he choose Sunni or shia? okay lets say he chooses christianity, catholic or pentecostal? if pentecostal, baptist? seventh day? jehova witness? deeper life or christ embassy?

Remember that lies have many versions.

If he chooses Christianity, then it is best he chooses Jesus Christ over the churches/denominations of men, that is if the Christian God is really his desire and not the antics of men. undecided

Easier said than done like most other religious claims.

In Christianity, it isn't hard to cloth only to that which Jesus Christ said instead of getting distracted by the many doctrines and traditions of men and their churches out there. All one has to do is stick to and only believe and only that which Jesus Christ is recorded to have taught and instructed His followers to do, as is written in only 4 of the about 66 books in the bible. How can that be hard? undecided

Most churches started because their founders thought they found better ways of being christ like but they ended up being just another church. like I said, its easier said than done.

But I instead advice the OP to avoid churches of men since they all have absolutely nothing to do with any of Jesus Christ's teachings and commandments as recorded in the 4 Gospels. undecided

Again, what is hard with sticking only to what Jesus Christ in fact taught and instructed rather than going along with the doctrines and delusions of men in this? undecided

Any wise person will know that the ways of religious people are slippery like that of a serpent.
It always start with "Oh! its just this one thing you need to do". Then they add more and more and more and before you know it you are in a full blown brand new religion.

You are not making any sense at all. undecided

That was exactly how pentecostal churches started, They wanted to focus on Jesus Christ over doctrines of men (The Catholic church) and look where they are now. You may sound wise to yourself but there's nothing new you are suggesting and it always lead to the same result; Just another church, another signboard.

If you really paid attention to the beginning of the Pentecostal movement, you would note that even though they claimed they wanted to focus on Jesus Christ, there intentions from the start was instead to obtain a share in the power that that Catholic church had at the time, and that is exactly the movement continues to be about even to this day... men seeking a share of the control that is the business of churches/kingdom of men on this earth. undecided

Again, What I have however, been saying for several comments now is completely different from all of that. Rather than advice anyone to pursue the churches of men , whose doctrines and traditions do not focus, nor have anything to do with the actual teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, I have advised that that OP ignore the kingdoms of men, and cling instead to what is written and taught of by Jesus Christ as documented right in the 4 Gospels. There are no churches of men in those 4 Gospels and certainly no instructions to associate in any way of form with the doctrines and traditions of men. All that is commander is direct submission and obedience of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ Himself.. undecided

Why you continue to find this hard to comprehend is beyond me at this point. But since you are not the OP, you can go ahead and ignore since my advice is to him and not you. undecided
