The source I have is that Kenya gov started 100 percent transition policy in 2018. We did 83 percent in 2018 - then jumped to 97 percent in 2019 - 2020 is lost year - kids stayed home - in 2021 we have done 98 percent joining secondary (of 1.17m who sat for final primary exam) - and two percent were accounted for - some joined TIVET(vocational colleges) while others died or repeated.

When will RSA get here?

“We have managed to account for 100 per cent of the 1,171,265 candidates who were selected to join Form One,” he said.

Magoha in a statement issued indicated that 1,129,637 have been placed in Form one in public and private schools with some 2,658 having registered to re-sit the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education Examination.

“Some 11,213 have joined TVET while 1,193 either moved away from their homes or are deceased,” Magoha said, reiterating that the data clearly indicates successful transition policy.

Kenya was already ahead of Africa by 2015/2016 - we were approaching 80 percent transition rate - but we stepped on gas - and now we are at 100 percents. Kids who do not report to secondary are hunted even in slums - jointly by the educational and security forces - and if it money - they get handed scholarship.

Even if you live in deep Kibera slum - we ensure you get high school education - so we don't have Nigerian and South Africa kind of situation of mass illiteracy.

Education is the biggest denominator for success of individual and country

I dont see any difference btw Ghanians and 35 percent of kenyans who are Nilotic. Phenotypically a typical Ghanian looks more like South Sudanese (all the way in from Ghana to SeneGambia). That is why Nigerians call you burnt offering - which is unfair. The majority of kenyans are bantus - who look most other bantus. The rest are cushitic who look like Somalis.

People look the way they look like because of adaptation to their climate - none is more beautiful or ugly than the other - all humans are equal - just different.

Don't be cryptic. Read what?

Meanwhile your school drop out rate is not shocking - it's explain why your country is a middle class trap.

https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/content/south-africa-children-school-drop-out-covid-19/
According to a recent report by South Africa's National Income Dynamics Study - Coronavirus Rapid Mobile (NIDS-CRAM), an estimated 750,000 school children in the country may have dropped out a result of the pandemic. This a vast increase from the pre-pandemic figure of 230,000, and a significant jump from the 300,000 primary school children that were reported absent seven months ago.

I guess that's a no wink since if you read it properly that only selected students were actually taken into account not the entire primary school population, also the transition rate was 98% not a 100% for the specifically selected students.

Its a shame that Kenyans here have reduced the word 'developing' to mean just building
Skyscrapers, bridges and houses.
I used to think
A proper city is defined by
Good roads
Public transport system
Electricity
Water supply
Schools
Hospitals
Markets
Financial services
Industries
And those stuffs.

Let me drop this here, though It shouldn't be considered part of important developments.

Do your research.
Per average height the difference between Ghana and Kenya is just about 0.1cm for males.
Females in both countries have same average height
