basilico:Chinese used 800mg of Chloroquine twice a day Hydroxy allowed them to drop it to 400mg per dose It's easy to drop Chloroquine in a petridish, it's harder to get it into cells at an appropriate dose to have any effect, hence the high dose, and hence the difference between in-vitro and in-vivo efficacy. The high dose needed for Covid can lead to myrocarditis and vision problems. |

Ibime:I give you kudos for your patience dealing with these self hating Coons who were born and raised under despotic leaders and knows not what living in a civilized world entails. Keep lecturing them Ibime and you deserve a Gold Medal for your patience in enganging their stupidity about a country they know through Google. |

basilico:We are talking about National Debt here, not jobs Bill Clinton was the King of creating jobs Biden job creation is just jobs lost during the pandemic coming back. Would be unfair to credit him |

basilico:Excluding recession years, Obama had dropped yearly deficit down to $500bln for 3 years steady (2014-2016). Trump immediately increased deficit back to $800bln and $1trln in 2018 and 2019 before the pandemic hit. Zendi did not remember National debt at that time

Ibime:I reckon Im correct saying that Obama forced an increase in social expenditure that Joe Biden will scale to the high heavens? Minus the pandemic input. Minus pandemic Trump added around 3 trillion and I remember he had an infrastructure bill in his first year. That did not pass? Growing the national debt is severely impacted by the fed interest rates. If you can please give a breakdown of federal interest rates per year from 2009 through 2021. Indicate how much of the fed rate increased the national debt annually. For the record Obama had 0% fed increase throughout his tenure. Explain this chart. Why under Trump the fed rate moved from 0 to 2% . https://casaplorer.com/fed-interest-rate

basilico:If so, why was Obama managing it at $0.5trn deficit and Trump immediately exploded it to $0.8trn, then $1trln?
|
| Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by Ibime(m): 9:18pm On Dec 15, 2021 |
basilico:Nope, the Treasury yield (particularly on the 10 year bond) determines the interest paid on the majority of the debt. Correlation with the fed funds rate has been weak. Little difference to the Treasury Yield curve between Trump and Obama years

armyofone:Semper Fi my Sis. Leaving this Sunday on Lufthansa enroute Frankurt to spend few days with my childhood buddy in the Military in US base in Wiesbaden outside of Frankfurt. I haven't got paid my monthly N40.000 and i think i will come up with something to buy that N18.000 Garri and Vegetable Soup with assorted meats full of protein. No snake meat though. Meanwhile, getting ready for those Immigration and Custom Officers at Murtala Airport always asking for bribes by saying Compliments Sir. How come Nigerians cannot do their duty with begging for alms. Don't they get paid. Off course, i am talking about those immigration and Custom guys at the Airport always shouting Compliments of the season. |

Ibime:That Treasury Bill is widely known as I Bond and it's not a good way to invest now. The best Treasury bill of recent memory was under President Bill Clinton and it was averaging about 9% annual interest and adjusted to inflation. It was the same period that the Certificate of Deposit was blasting so high that tou can buy a 24 month CD and come up with 10 to 12% annual rate. With saying all that, Stock Markets is still the best way to invest your funds and one thing that's very important is diversity. Like the popular saying, do not put all your eggs in one basket. Diversification of your Mutual Fumds is the way to go and no matter what happens in the market be either Bear Market or Bull Market, you will come out smiling at the end. |
