U can't even find #20 worth of groundnuts over here in warri am addicted to groundnuts I love eating it before and after meals. I honestly don't know where the NBS got it's statistics from that inflation dropped in Nigeria by %14 almost everything in the market have quatripled.

Jollof satchet tomatoes that uses to sell for @50 is now #100!!!
My gen refused to start the other day and I saw the oil was black. Went to buy the 1ltr sealed oil I used to buy for #1k and was told it's now #2k!!!! Not even say #1k 500!! Just doubled!!! Derica of rice,#500!!! Same with beans!!! 1&1/2 bottle of Kerosene,#800!!!
Bought blender last year#14k,gave it away to family. Went to buy again this year,#24k!!!!!

Traveled to Benin some weeks ago#4k+ and coming back#7k+!!!! Wtf! Well I have stopped eating G4 and groundnuts. It stuff my stomach with gas..so does excess dodo

It's not just groundnuts that is scarce, even lights in Ikorodu Area of -Grammer -School,Ota-ona, Erunwen,Nitel area etc!
The People here have been Scammed by Ikeja- Discos, since 2020 by providing them darkness and is getting worse on daily basis now.While Areas like Ijede,Elepe and Eleshi enjoys reasonable light because of their proximity to Ijede-Power or Ikeja Disco used this method to keep them from being restive,the rest of Ikorodu have been under darkness- 3-hours a Day light,yet they come in ladder at months end! No Representative is talking . This is 21st Century for God's sake!

once there's inflation it'll effect even the most common thing.
a groundnut seller will buy food (which will definitely put money)
she'll transport herself to go and restock her wares (transportation increase)
she'll buy gass to fry (gas price increase)

so you expect her to sell the same price after all these expenses?
sometimes make una dey think before talking.

Bro I bought gala of #50 yesterday you need to see how small it was more or less like #20 rite gala. I'm leaving this shit+hole next February by God grace .
