Did corrupt Tinubu build a house for PA Ayo Adebanjo as Pa akande claimed in that book? It's full of junks. We will never allow the name of the well-respected yoruba elder to be dragged in the mud. I salute his courage by coming out today to debunk his claims, even challenging efcc to look into the matter and probe Tinubu and the source of his wealth.

As if that wasn't enough, he lied in the book about former gov oyinlola. Rather, pa bisi akankde awarded 800m government house contract and paid 100% in advance. I have a copy of that book received through my uncle who also attended the launch. He bought 3 and gave me one.

There was another claim that buhari wasn't fair to Southern Christians in the 1983 coup during the apportionment of punishment , especially those who served in the shagari government, etc.

Tinubu's hands are clearly seen in the autobiography, maybe because of his utopian 2023 ambition. We will repel any form of intimidation against our elders for whatever reasons. It's not a must that everybody supports Tinubu's ambition when he himself knows he's chasing shadows

Bisi Akande wrote this book to sing the praise of Tinubu as his own support towards Tinubu's presidential ambition.

Bode George is very right on this, Bisi Akande book is full of lies diluted history, it's also exposed him seriously

Akande his amazed at how Tinubu successfully cornered Lagos resources, he has also benefitted from Tinubu's loot. So this book sang the praise of Tinubu as a way of saying "Thank you" to him

I was expecting it like that because anytime Papa Bode George heard Tinubu name he must spark.
It is God that makes him Tinubu head over them, none of the former governos in Nigeria is still relevant like him

He should be ready to write another book after Tinubu has been denied APC presidential ticket

I have heard about the adebanjo lekki house story long before now. It is pure truth, Lagos/Tinubu built it for him.
It is part of their selfish and hypocritical stand to have a restructured Nigeria back to pre gowon era that make him defending Jonathan's fake conference. Tinubu was actually right and smart to say Jonathan's conference was a diversion, jonathan had been in government and president for the remaining 2 years of yaradua, and was again elected for another 4 years, but didn't convene the conference not untill almost the next general elections to cause confusion and elongate his regime. If he was serious about the conference, he should have constituted it at the beginning of his regime

I agree with U to an extent he was actually honest and held nothing back bt he spared his friend tinubu and praised him though unintentionally exposed him also.

ivolt , afterall it's his opinion. The Tinubu’s sponsored autobiography is full of junks and political attacks on those who don't share same views and ideas with him. Oloshi ni Tinubu yen. I have a copy of it which I've read paali to paali. He just wants to rubbish our elders at all cost just because they stand by the truth regarding his 2023 ambition. It's all about 2023 elections. It was same Pa Adebanjo who rescued tinubu in 1999 when the ingrate was prostrating before him to be considered as Lagos state governorship candidate under the Afenifere party, the Alliance for Democracy when Obasanjo met with afenifere said he wanted lagos at all cost

The majority of NL youths don't read so unfortunate. They should read about Tinubu's antecedents rather than blindly supporting him. He's not worthy of a good leader. As soon as he became governor, he packed afenifere aside and wielded so much power to himself, surrounding himself with thugs and killers. Pa Adebanjo had challenged tinubu on the lies . What you call relevance is nothing but "godfatherism" and hijack and control of state structures and resources. Others like him ruled and left the stage for others but greed has been driving this one and still driving him. So celebrate something else not Tinubu's relevance because its nothing to be proud about

Thank you! That's the word: selective amnesia. That was the exact word that can to my mind, unless he deliberately lied. Most of the accusations were just pure lies, like he only kept telling himself lies so much that he started believing them 100%.

Akande is a disgrace to decent Yoruba elders. I am not Yoruba but I felt ashamed for his people at his ass-kisser role with that book. Must you lampoon your own people like that because you want Buhari to give Tinubu your ally the party ticket? You can ass-lick with wisdom, not throwing caution to the wind.

Trash. He didn't hold back with a bunch of tissues of lies ? He woefully failed to back up any of his allegations against people with facts or pieces of evidence.
Chief Olagunsoye Oyinlola has released a short rejoinder debunking some lies he told about him with facts.
Akande claimed not to have given or taken a bribe in his life yet, his house in Ibadan was built for him by the company he awarded the government house contract to.
After losing re-election, he hurriedly awarded a contract worth 800million naira and paid in full before leaving office. If that is not bribery, i wonder what else to call it.

I am even surprised that Prof Wole Soyinka wrote the ...Forward page...Anyway God will expose all of them. Yoruba knows their leaders.
