CSTRR:
How are babies even comfortable in that upside down position for 9 months?
They are not upside down for 9 months. They spend most of the gestation period, right side up. They only switch to the position in the picture, close to delivery. That is because a baby should be born head first. Any attempt to come leg(s) first, Will cause serious complications and may lead to loss of life of mother and/or child.

This is not an achievement na

Just draw a black person foetus is wat anybody can. Do
You don't know anything.

This guy's work blew up in Europe earlier this month. It was all over the news and talked about a lot on air. Have you ever since black illustrations like these in any hospital? Is it not only white? Even doctors, nurses, and medical practitioners in Europe admitted that throughout their careers till date, they've never seen such. This guy is about to change that narrative with his mission. We'll probably be seeing illustration like these in hospitals because of this guy.

Although I understand his view point, mere looking at the samples you can tell that lighter skinned illustrations do a better job due to the contrast effect it brings. The dark skin has a tendency to swallow the main feature being illustrated whereas the light skin projects it more. Speaking from the artistic perspective not social or medical.
From a medical point of view, there is a disease called Lyme disease that is characterized by a bulls eye rash on the skin. As illustrated in most medical books with pictures of the white skin showing the redish bulls eye rash on the skin. But on black skin, this rash doesn't show the bulls eye cos of skin pigmentation so doctors might misdiagnose the disease on black people. Which is why medical illustration should shows diverse skin colour so medical doctors can learn and know what to look for on their patients.

This will make little difference to the medical student studying human gross anatomy as internal organs are the same. It's not everything that has to be made about race or representation.
It's impact is on studying rashes and lesions. They appear different in white and black skins. So doctors are trained on how rashes look on light and dark skins for proper diagnosis.

Many people won't really get the picture of this feat.....After many years (schooling and Practicing)....Many in the field didn't even recognize the racism glaring back from textbooks, atlases, and catalogs.

I SALUTE YOU SIR!

That's the thing. A lot of babies are born with their skin colours brown/black. These illustrations of white babies and mothers have conditioned us to believe that all babies are born white.

This is actually stupid. All he did was darken existing pictures. And what does he mean by white and male? Should the female anatomy be used to describe the male as well? Nigerians please stay away from Alphabet people.

I'd just hope that he'll be able to circumvent the limitations, it will be great for doctors, students and patients.

Believe me you are not in any way a dull brain. What he has simply done was to look around him for a problem to solve. If only you would just take a good look around you for a problem to solve too, it would make you get celebrated very soon. I have solved some too.
All the best. Cheers
