You apply get ur ID and then wait. 15 names get shortlisted for DSSC and SSC each (30 in all). They get camped for about 2wks or less (cos as they screen u out u go home) chk ur credentials, xcercises for fitness medicals (blood, urine, pile, flat foot etc) and then u face the int'vw board usually some bunch of pot bellied Generals that throw questions as they dim fit. Then you wait for the final list of 3 or 4 from each state (again each for DSSC and SSC mkn double). You go to camp again for 6-9 months depending on the commission and voila, you're a Lieutenent or 2nd Lieuteneant. Goodluck.
